Be Jolly Tags

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY TAG.  Now that you have the details for my Tag Thursday creation for this week ........ Let's jump right in with my tag share for today........
Check out this trio of "Be Jolly" tags I created.
All three tags are exactly the same ........ And each one features LOTS of product from the new 2018 Holiday Catalog.
I began these tags with a 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" Whisper White base.  I used the 'Banner Punch' to create a fun fish tail on one end and clipped the top end with my Paper Snips.
Next, I used the 'Candy Cane Season' stamp set and Garden Green ink to stamp each tag with the background "Ho! Ho! Ho!" image.  I then used Merry Merlot ink and stamped my candy canes onto some Whisper White card stock.  It was a snap fussy cutting out those two candy canes for the front of each tag.
I added some of the new 'Merry Merlot Reversible Ribbon' to the top of each tag ....... And added a 'Gold Faceted Gem' to the top of each tag.
The finishing touch was stamping the "Be Jolly" sentiment onto some Whisper White card stock using Garden Green ink.  All I needed to do was grab my Paper Snips and create a tiny little banner flag and added those stamped "Be Jolly" banner flags to the center of each candy candy image

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Snowman Friendship Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
How ADORABLE are these little snowmen!  I CASE'd my dear friend Donna's St Patrick's Day card layout when I created this card.
I started this card out by using the new 'Blizzard Thinlits Dies' along with the 'Big Shot Embossing Mats' to create an embossed Whisper White panel for my card.  I'm loving how this turned out.
Next, I grabbed the 'Subtles Balmy Blue Designer Series Paper' and created a pretty panel across the bottom portion of my card.
The 'Spirited Snowmen' set just steals the show on this card.
And the only coloring I did was color in the single heart with my 'Real Red Stampin' Blends'.
And the final touch was adding the 'Best Route Enamel Shapes' to fill in the center of each of snowflakes.......And this card was done in no time flat.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tag Thursday creation to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mini Treat Bag

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER FUN to create and the product is featured in both the 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
This treat bag was inspired by the very talented Sam at Pootles in the UK.
Our Downline Team Swap for September was to create 10-Holiday Treat Bags and use ribbon in the completion of our bags.  When Sam shared this project on her blog back in June......I knew it would be the perfect bag to make for this challenge.
Here is how to make it.  (I changed the measurements from Sam's bag......So I could make a smaller version for my team)  Start off with a 4-1/4" x 6" piece of 'Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper'.  Score on the long side at 2", 2-3/4", 4-3/4" and 5-1/2".  Then on the short side score at 3/4".  This 3/4" score will be forming the bottom portion of your bag.
The topper flap is a 3" x 2" piece of Old Olive card stock ...... And that is scored in half.  I then used my 'Scallop Tag Topper Punch' to create a pretty edge to my Old Olive flap ...... And adhered that flap piece to my assembled treat bag.
Here is how the bag looks when the Old Olive topper flap section is added and ribbon is wrapped around the entire treat bag.
The ribbon secures the treat bag closed........And a tiny York Peppermint Patty was tucked inside the assembled treat bag.
The sentiment was stamped with the 'Tags & Tidings' set and then cut out using the 'Christmas Tags Thinlits Dies'.
This project came together in a snap........
And it makes for the perfect little holiday treat!!!!!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Season's Greeting Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products found in the 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is my Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT.....
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the RIGHT....
I began this upgraded version by changing the orientation of my card.
I started this upgraded version off by using the 'Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder' on my Whisper White base card.
Next, I stamped my sentiment from the 'Merry Christmas To All' set and cropped it out with one of the 'Layering Ovals Dies'.
I stamped my poinsettia flower from the 'Peaceful Poinsettia' set onto a panel of Whisper White card stock.  And I used my new 'Real Red Stampin' Blends' to color in each flower and the 'Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends' to color in all the leaf images.  I added a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock behind the stamped image ........ And added a ruffled edge to that Shaded Spruce card stock by punching it out with the 'Decorative Ribbon Border Punch'.
The final touch on this upgraded card was adding some 'Real Red 3/8" Mixed Satin Ribbon' around the Shaded Spruce panel ...... And I tied it up into a pretty knot.
Just crazy about the way both of these cards turned out.....
Do you have a favorite??????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Season's Greetings

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
I made it to St Louis yesterday afternoon and immediately connected with my kids and grandkids.  I have to admit ........... My family knows how to have a GOOD TIME and always MAKES SOME GREAT MEMORIES when we all get together.  The wedding is at 4:00 today and I'm looking forward to more LAUGHTER, FUN and GREAT TIMES with my family ......... that will for sure take us well into the early morning hours.

Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the NEW 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.   This card uses several products from that catalog ....... And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today..........
I started out this card with a Whisper White base card ........
I added a panel of Shaded Spruce to the top of my Whisper White base card ........ And I used the 'Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder' to create some fun texture to that Shaded Spruce panel.
My poinsettia was stamped with the 'Peaceful Poinsettia' set ...... And I colored in the flower and leafs with my 'Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends'.
My sentiment is from the 'Merry Christmas To All' set and I used Memento Black ink to stamp that image directly onto my Whisper White panel.
Here is how that completed stamped and colored panel turned out.
Turned out to be a pretty quick and easy card......
And coloring with the Stampin' Blends was SO RELAXING!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3-Butterfly Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
I'm boarding a flight early this morning to head back to St Louis for a wedding.  And the VERY BEST PART ....... I'm going to be spending the entire weekend with my kids and grandkids.  OH WHAT FUN!!!!  So.......I've prepared a quick little Paper Pumpkin Saturday creation for you today and it uses the July Paper Pumpkin kit.  I must admit........I'm loving the way this card turned out.
What a DARLING little card ...... And the best part ........ It was created with some of the left-over pieces from my July Paper Pumpkin kit.
I used the blue gingham paper that was included in this kit and created two triangle pieces on the front of my card.
I used the large 'Layering Circles Die' to add a Blueberry Bushel scallop circle to the center of my card.  My three butterflies were stamped onto Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick card stock using the 'Painted Glass' set.
My sentiment was from the stamp set that came with my July kit.....
And a final touch was using the stitching stamp that came with the July kit ........ and stamped Blueberry Bushel sticking lines around the top and bottom of my card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
