Penquin Pillow Box Treat Holder

          Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Forgot to mention that I checked into the Best Western Suites on Sunday evening.  Have an AMAZING room that is plenty big enough and I even have an area to do some scrapbooking and card making.

Today I am heading out to go spend the morning with my bestie JoAnne.  She just purchased a large piece of property out in the country and just built their new home on it.  Can't wait to see her GORGEOUS new home and all the fun things she has done to it.  Then I'll be heading back to the hotel and meeting up with my downline team for our Mystery Stamping Zoom gathering.

My blog post for today is KICKING OFF the "30-Day Countdown to Christmas".   This countdown will include a new card or project I created for Christmas this year........And here is Day 5 of my "30-Day Countdown to Christmas"............
Looking for a QUICK and SUPER EASY little Holiday treat?  This little project will cover all your bases!
I started with a Thick White piece of card stock and ran it though my Die Cutting Machine using the 'Pretty Pillow Box Dies'.  After I had the two pieces die-cut ....... I took those pieces to my Embossing Machine and used the 'Wintry 3D Embossing Folder' on both to add a pretty little texture to my holder.
I used a piece of the retired Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper and created a Belly Band for my holder.  I used the white ribbon in the 'Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack' and wrapped that around my DSP and tied it off into a pretty knot at the top.  My little Penquin was stamped with the 'Penguin Place' set and I used the 'Penquin Builder Punch' to crop him out.
All that was left to do was cover four Hershey Nuggets with some Designer Series Paper......
And tuck those little treats inside my holder.  I'm taking a few of these back to Wisconsin with me and plan to hand them out while I'm standing in line waiting to be checked out.  Figure this would be a sweet little treat to hand to someone who might be getting a little cranky about how slow the lines are moving.  WHO CAN STAY UPSET WHEN YOU PUT CHOCOLTE IN THEIR HANDS?????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another '30-Day Countdown to Christmas' creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Happy Christmas

            Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today......I am spending the entire day with my girls.  We are heading out early to get a pedicure ........ And then a tradition for the three of us is to do some holiday shopping in Madison.  And our favorite store is Kohl's on the West side of town.  We always stop in this store and do some video taping.  So if you are in Kohl's today.......Please pay no-never mind to all the CRAZY video taping that will going on in the back corner (as my daughter's always say ........ Let's go do this.......It's tradition dancing in Kohl's).  I'll share pictures of our crazy shenanigans tomorrow.  The BIG FUN ....... we are going to play BINGO tonight.  HOW FUN!!!!!!
We started out our day by going and getting a Pedicure.  It was so AMAZING ........ Because they put us in a private room and we could act up as much as we wanted.
Check out those GORGEOUS pink toes!!!!!!!
Then we hit Kohl's and kind of tore that store up.  Let's just say ....... There were MANY customers willing to take pictures of all our shenanigan's.
Then we hit the Dollar Store and bought dabbers for Bingo.
We arrived at the Bingo Hall and immediately purchased our first of many cocktails.
And after all the prepping and anticipation for our BIG event ........ ALL our cards were DUDS!!!!!

My blog post for today is KICKING OFF the "30-Day Countdown to Christmas".   This countdown will include a new card or project I created for Christmas this year........And here is Day 4 of my "30-Day Countdown to Christmas............
My card for today was inspired from the Cozy Craft Retreat that Lori Heilling offered back in September.  This card is such a GREAT fold ...... I only made a few changes to her card.
The style of this card is called a book-style card.  It is scored at 4-1/4" and 5-1/2" to create this fold.
The 'Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper' is adhered to the 1-1/4" fold and before that section is adhered down ..... I wrapped some 'Real Red Ruffled Ribbon' around it.
The White panel is embossed with 'Painted Textures Embossing Folder' and then the "Happy" sentiment was added to the top.
The "Happy" sentiment is from the 'Christmas Cheer Dies' and added to the front of my card using 'Stampin' Dimensionals'.
So what do you think my friends.......CUTE or WHAT!!!!

Holiday Tag Box

          Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends
Check out these FUN pictures of our Christmas cookie decorating yesterday afternoon........

This family of mine is one WACKY........CRAZY.......FUN LOVING.......BEAUTIFUL gang.

Now ........ my blog post for today is KICKING OFF the "30-Day Countdown to Christmas".   This countdown will include a new card or project I created for Christmas this year........And here is Day 3 of my "30-Day Countdow to Christmas"............
This DARLING little tag box was created for my downline team members who particapated in my November Team Swap.
Our swap was to create a set of holiday gift tags ........ And package them up in some fashion.  I set-out to create a FUN little box for my set of tags to sit in.
My packaging is a Thick White base that measures 7-1/4" x 6-7/8".  With the 7-1/4" edge at the top of my Simply Scoring Board........I scored at 3/4" on both ends.  Then with the 6-7/8" edge at the top of my Simply Scoring Board......I scored that side at 3/4", 3", 3-3/4" and 6-1/8".
I used my 'Stitched Rectangles Dies' to crop out a window on the top section of my box.  And I used some 'Gold Foil' to create a frame around that opening.......and a special little tag for the top of my box.
Before assembling my box together......I ran it through my Embossing Machine with a snowflake folder.  I also used my 3/4" circle punch to crop out a thumb slot to make opening my tag box just a tad easier.
I adhere a piece of Window Sheet to the inside top of my box ........ And this helped the tags from slipping out of the window cut out section.
And here are the four tags I created.
My tags are 2" x 4" and I cropped out the black (top images) with the 'Giving Gifts Dies'.  That helped me create the Santa and Sleigh.......
And then I just matted those die-cut pieces to the top of a Cherry Cobbler and White base tag.
Each tag was topped off with a piece of 'Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2 Ribbon' and that ribbon was secured in place with some 'Gold Simply Elegant Trim'.
My sentiment was stamped directly onto the Cherry Cobbler or White base tag.  I used the 'Frightfully Cute' stamp set for that.
And that's all it took to create this little CUTIE.
What do you think my friends????

Scrap Paper/Post It Note Holder

            Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Well, today is our Annual Gingerbread House Party and the five grandkids will be gathering together to build their gingerbread houses and decorate some YUMMY Christmas Cookies.  I had wondered if my oldest grandson was going to come.......(He's 22 years old and we started this tradition when he was about 3 years old).  When I asked him if was coming, he said......"YOU BET NANA......I WOULDN'T MISS IT ......  IT'S TRADITION"(oh, be still my heart!!!)  Every single year, I ask myself ........ Who is having more fun with this tradition ...... The grandkids or the adult parents!!!!!
Here's some pictures of the girls setting up for our party.........

Now ...... On with my blog post for today.  I am KICKING OFF the "30-Day Countdown to Christmas Challenge" and today is Day 2 of this challenge.  Check out the cute project I created...........
Every once in a while ......... Someone creates something on the internet that takes my breath away.  Connie Stewart is usually the person who does that to me.  She created this Scrap Paper/Post it Note Holder on her blog back on October 14th and I knew IMMEDIATELY......I wanted to create this.
Here is the link to her blog post:  DIY Christmas Gift for Coworkers: Easily Make Affordable Gift Ideas (simplysimplestamping.com)
Connie has step-by-step instructions ....... along with an AMAZING video that will help you create this project.
I knew I wanted to make this for my studio ....... So I created mine with Melon Mambo card stock along with decorating the outside with my (retired) Designer Series Paper.
It holds LOADS of scrap paper........
And I ended up putting my business cards in the back pocket.
I used the 'Days to Remember' set along with the 'Tailor Made Tags Dies'  for my tag piece.  And the pretty white ribbon from the 'Flowers For Every Season' was the icing on the cake in my opinion.
So if your looking for that PERFECT little gift to make for someone this holiday season ....... You have to head over to Connie's blog and watch this video.
