Easter Card from Hailey

Happy Easter My Blogger Friends!
Today I have an extra special Easter card to share with you......It's one my granddaughter Hailey made for me.  Check out what I received in the mail from her.......
This is my first Skype Sunday card that Hailey made especially for me.  I'm figuring she made me this one because it's PINK.....
She used lots of Stickles on her Easter Eggs and made some pretty designs on each of them.
She even added a white bunny tail on one of the bunnies.....and a pink bunny tail on the center bunny!
Here's the embossed background that was done in Pretty in Pink!
And the sweetest part of my card was what Hailey wrote on the inside (bless her for remembering Jack (a.k.a. Pop Pop).......

And she even has a special Stampin' UP! "Made By" stamp with her name.  She loves this stamp and uses it on all her cards.

Thanks for joining me today!  Jack and I will be celebrating Easter with each other today.......Making a small ham dinner and probably eating it out on our Ramada while enjoying some GORGEOUS Arizona weather.  I'll be back tomorrow to share the Easter place cards and wrapped candies that Hailey made for their Easter Dinner at the White's House.  Hope you can come back tomorrow to join me for that share.  Happy Easter Friends!   Keep Living Your Dream!

My Easter Treats

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
It's the day before the holiday.........and that means I will be out bright and early making my Easter Basket delivery treats to my SaddleBrooke Friends.  Here is the cute little treat I have made for them..........
This project was shared on the SU website by Carrie Cudney (at the SU Home Office).  She created this darling little Oval Bunny Easter Basket and provided all the dimensions on how to make this little cutie!
His body, arms, feet and ears is made from the Ovals Framelits Collection and his ears are made from the Large Oval punch.
His basket is made from the Petite Purse Die and I opted to not add the handle to my basket.
The Happy Easter sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and I used the Bitty Banners Framelits dies to cut out six different colors for my Happy Easter sentiment.  here is the Lucky Limeade banner......
And the Calypso Coral banner.....

The Bashful Blue banner.....

The Daffodil Delight banner.....
The Island Indigo banner.....

And the Wisteria Wonder banner.
And this is what all 28 of my Easter Bunny Treats looks like before I took off to deliver them this morning at the crack of dawn.........
These were super fun to make ...... And hope that my friends are going to really enjoy this little Easter surprise that will be hanging from their mailboxes today.

Thanks for joining me today!  I have a special Easter Card to share with you tomorrow...........Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me tomorrow for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Kathie's Pretzel Party

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
I have a special post to share with you today.....and one that is FABULOUSLY YUMMY!  It has nothing to do with papercrafting........and everything to do with a dear sweet friend that creates some of the most AWESOME and AMAZING treats in all of Arizona.  I say this because Kathie is that someone who not only is able to create spectacular gifts and treats......but she will also will BLOW YOU AWAY with the presentation of WHATEVER she is giving to you.  Check out how I spent my Wednesday afternoon.........
We made these SERIOUSLY YUMMY chocolate covered Pretzels!

We took a pretzel rod and first covered it with some super yummy caramel!
We then dipped our pretzels into some melted chocolate.........
And then rolled it into a batch of toffee and chocolate chips mixture..........And let them sit in that batch of yummy until they set up......
Our last step was to drizzle some melted white chocolate over the top of our prepared pretzels.....and topped it all off with some mini chocolate chip pieces.  OH MY GOSH.....can you say HELLO HEAVEN!
We then wrapped each of our pretzels into 3x8 cello bags.........
And tied them off with some extra large chenille stems.
Here are five of the six chocolate covered pretzels I made........Guess I had to sample one before I gave one to Jack.  And trust me........OH MY GOSH.......they were SERIOUSLY GOOD!

So there you have it.......a super yummy treat that Kathie taught about 8 of my fellow SaddleBrooke Friends how to make.  It was a totally fun day and it even included a special little visit from Kathie's 2-month old grandson Jack.........(possibly the cutest little baby boy in all of Arizona!).  Thanks Kathie for sharing your kitchen with me and for including me in on this fun day.

I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you......Hope you can make time to stop back and see me.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Hershey Kisses Easter Basket

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing one of the swaps I received from Sue at our March SW Stampers Demo meeting.  Sue found this Easter Basket that Brenda at QBees Quest blog had made.........and it was posted on March 7, 2013.  Here's a link to Brenda's blog (for directions on how to make): http://qbeesquest.blogspot.com/2013/03/hersheys-cupcake-tutorial.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+QbeesQuest+%28Qbee%27s+Quest%29
This basket is from a single sheet of cardstock and all it takes is some simple scoring and folding and you will have your Herhsey Kisses Basket made.
Sue made a "happy easter" sentiment tag for the top of our Easter Basket......
And even filled all our sections up with Hershey Kisses!
She used the Tasteful Trim die to cut-out the handle for her basket and adhered it with some glimmer brads for a little WOW FACTOR!
Here's a close-up of the handle and the Real Red Glimmer Brad she used to attach it directly to the base of our basket.
Sue even tied a small piece of Daffodil Delight Seam Binding to the handle and her swap project was completed.  LOVE LOVE LOVE this basket.  Many THANKS Sue for providing us with the blogsite on how to make more of these.

Thanks for joining me today - I'll be back tomorrow for more Kards by Kadie creations....hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Carol's Spring/Easter Treats

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have an extra special Spring/Easter Treat for you.  It's a GORGEOUS gift that my good stamping friend Carol N made for me.  She created four cute COOKIES ON A STICK creations and brought all four of them over for me. (I think I actually SQUEALED when she handed them to me!)   Check these cuties out........
Here's all four of the creations that Carol made for me.  They are cookies on a stick and she made them with Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies.  She melted down and colored some white chocolate and designed a Chick.....a Kitty......a Pig and a Frog.

Here's the CHICK........
I just love how Carol designed his little face.  OH SO CUTE!
Next up is the CUTE CUTE Kitty......
SERIOUSLY......who wouldn't think this was the cuties gift ever?
Here is the little Pig that Carol made......
This is probably my most favorite of all the creations.
LOVE how Carol made his nose!
And last is the Turtle.....
I know this creation will be Hailey's favorite.
It has such fun texture on his back and the green........SO REAL LOOKING!

SO....there you have it......The four Spring/Easter Treats that Carol made.  I feel so blessed to have such a fabulous friend in Carol.....and the fact that she can create all the fun Double Stuff Oreo TREATS is a bonus!  Thank You Carol for thinking of me.

Easter Treats

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today (and tomorrow), I have some extra special Easter Treats to share with you.  They were made for me by two of my favorite SaddleBrooke Stamper Friends.......and I just know you are going to LOVE THEM.  Let me jump right in with Abbie's gift........
Check out this SUPER CUTE Easter Carrot!
How "oh so cute" is this little gift!

Abbie made a big version of the sour cream container that is all over the internet.....and snipped the top to fit some greens for her carrot top!
She ran her carrot tops through the paper crimper and then just attached them to the top of her carrot.
She even added a special little "happy easter" sentiment along with some retired SU ribbon.
Here's what the backside of my carrot treat looks like......I think it's just as pretty as the front side!
Of course....Abbie stuffed chocolate candy to the inside of my carrot.....which by the way...if I figure out a way to get to the chocolates - WITHOUT trashing this super fun gift.......I will let you know.  Otherwise.......I have it displayed in my Studio for the holiday season.

Thanks for joining me today.  I'll be back tomorrow to share the treats that my stamping friend Carol N made for me.....I promise you......You will want to stop back for this share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
