2015 Convention Highlights

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
I normally post 'Friends Friday' om Friday.......but today I'm going to post some of the pictures from my recent Stampin' UP! Convention trip.  Hope you enjoy looking over some of the fun I had at this years Stampin' UP! Convention.  Let's jump right in with my share for today.......

First thing planned for me when I arrived in Salt Lake City was running over to the convention center and jumping on a bus for a tour of the home office.  This is the banner that Stampin' UP! hung in the convention center to welcome us.
Here we are driving up to the home office in Riverton.
We got to take a tour of the manufacturing plant....and even got a sneak peek at some orders coming off the line.
I had been to the home office before.......but never had the opportunity to get some pictures of the fabulous displays they have arranged.
It's seriously like walking into someone's home!
And of course ........ A trip to the home office just wouldn't be complete without taking a picture next to the Stampin' UP! rock.
Our opening session on Wednesday morning kind of looked like this......
I am always impressed at how the stage is decorated ......... And staff did an outstanding job this year of decorating the stage PERFECTLY with awesome inspiration and color!

Here's my "PARTNERS in crime".....
(Teresa and Lynn)
And here I am with one of the first Prize Patrols called on Friday morning.  And wouldn't you know it ......... The gal who designed this punch (Charlotte) was sitting right in front of me.  WOW ....... I would say that is a DOUBLE BONUS WIN!
The highlight of convention is getting some sneak peeks at new product.
And this convention didn't fail me ......
Super awesome Halloween.....
And gorgeous fall creations!
One of the real surprises was when Tricia (far right) walked out onto stage to be part of a demonstrator panel.  TRICIA ........ YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB!
Thursday night was awards night.......And here we are walking into the "After Party" ....... which was a Roaring Twenties theme.

Here's my two Convention Buddies again.......
And here we are showing off our 'Make n' Take' on Saturday morning.
We just couldn't resist having our picture taken with all the Christmas decoration.  I told the gals to give me a "sassy bitch" pose and this is the best we could come up with.
Teresa and I standing in front of the On-Stage board.  We are both registered for San Diego in November.

And convention just wouldn't be complete without visiting the display boards.
There was LOTS of new DSP......
YUMMY new fibers.......
And more new dies and punches then you could shake a stick at!
We were all VERY SAD when it was all over on Saturday.

So there you have it friends ....... A quick snap-shot of some of the fun I had at convention.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Paper Pumpkin creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Tag Thursday - Convention Tags

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today I have some tags that were displayed at the Stampin' UP! Convention last week.  These are tags were created from some of the new product that will be offered in the 2015-Holiday Catalog.  If you need a copy of this catalog......Just send me an email and I will be happy to get one in your hot little hands.  Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
All of these tags were created using the new "Peaceful Pines" stamp set.  There is a coordinating Framelits dies that goes with this set.......and it is without a doubt......One of my favorite items in the new catalog.
You might be looking at this set and thinking......Wasn't there a holiday tree and punch in last years catalog.  And you would be right!  But this set is SUPER SASSY and FULL of FUN.  It also has WAY MORE images of trees included in this stamp set.
This one used the new "Home for Christmas" DSP to die-cut out this festive tree.
And talk about some yummy new ribbon!  1/8" Striped Ribbon that comes with two spools (1-Real Red and 1-Garden Green).
Here's the entire grouping of tags that were being displayed at the Stampin' UP! Convention.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share more convention pictures with you ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday - You're Fabulous Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
HOW FUN is this little 3x3 card!
I used the Neutrals Color Collection DSP pack (Basic Black) for my fun little banner flag at the top of my Whisper White 3x3 card.  For a punch of color on the Basic Black DSP.......I wrapped some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around the  DSP and tied up a pretty bow.
For my sentiment I used the Host set "A Whole Lot of Lovely" with some Black Statz-On ink.  For a punch of WOW FACTOR........I added two retired Real Red bitty flowers with a Rhinestone in the center.
SUPER FAST and EASY card to put together........And create a fun little 3x3 box and you have the perfect hostess gift.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Tag Thursday creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3-D Tuesday Card Tin Kit

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Well my friends.......I'm back from convention and my feet have seriously ..... hit the floor RUNNING.  I scheduled workshops and classes this week ..... and to say the least ........ LIFE IS CRAZY in my studio this week.  I hope to have all my pics from convention downloaded and ready to share with you on Friday.  For my blog post today........I have a special 3-D Tuesday project to share with you.  This is one of those projects that is SUPER QUICK and SUPER EASY to create.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.
I used the new Card Tin Card Kit to create some pretty amazing and fun cards.  This one uses the Whisper White base card that came in this kit and I added some Perfect Plum punched butterflies.
This card was one of the Crumb Cake base cards that comes with this kit ........ But I decided not to add the clear window cover that came with the kit - and I added three punched out squares and three Watermelon Wonder butterflies to those squares.
This card came together in a snap......
Along with this card.....
This card......
And this one.
This is one of my favorite "out of the box" creations......
Along with this one.......
This one......
And this one.
And the extra special thing about this kit ....... It comes with this super awesome metal tin that you can store all the cards you create inside that beautiful tin.
Here's a closer look at the tabs I created.

Thanks for joining me today.  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine-Down Wednesday card creation with you .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix It UP! Monday - Pink Butterfly

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have a great new product card to share with you.  I shared with you yesterday my version of a card I created using some new Stampin' UP! product.  What I want to share with you today is the 'Mixed-UP!' version of that very same card.  Today's card version uses the exact same product I used to create yesterday's card ....... with some additional product.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today.......
The card on the left.......is a basic / fast duplicate type of card.  The card on the right is my Mix It UP! Monday card.
Here's a close-up of that Mix It UP! Monday card.
I kept the same 'Thank You' sentiment........
And the same Pink Pirouette butterfly.......
But added some Dazzling Diamond over my butterfly,
And gave my butterfly a large Watermelon Wonder embossed circle to sit upon........
Along with a pretty white Doilies.
I also added three Blushing Bride sequins......and dropped a single pearl inside the center of each sequin.
So there you have it friends ........ A beautiful stepped up version of the basic card that I shared with you yesterday.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a fun 3-D Tuesday project with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
