Twoie's School Treats

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project was SUPER FUN to create and I made these candy holders for my grandson Twoie.  I mainly used product that is featured in the 2017 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog ....... So let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
These are the matchbook style candy holders I made for my grandson Twoie (Devon) to take into his preschool classmates today.
Each candy holder is designed to be a matchbook style holder and it was like magic happened after I added the candy treats to the inside.
I tucked two candy packets inside each holder.
The measurements for this little holder are a Basic Black cardstock piece that measures 2-1/4" x 6-1/2".  I scored that piece at 3/4" and 3-3/4".  Then all I needed to do was fold up on the score line and use my stapler to secure the bottom flap.  My Designer Series Paper is from the 'Spooky Night' collection.....And those pieces measure 2-1/4" x 2" and 2" x 1/2".
I'm sure Twoie is going to have FUN handing these little treats out to his classmates today!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Creep it Real Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in both the 2017 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here's my Spot Light Sunday from yesterday on the LEFT....
And today's Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT....

So for today's card I only made a few upgrades ....... But each of those upgrades totaled up to some real WOW FACTOR to this darling little 3"x3" card.
To start off ......... I decided to step up the sentiment on my card.  I used Black Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder to really bring out some shine to my 'Creep it Real' sentiment.
I kept the 'Spooky Night Designer Series Paper' at the top and bottom of my card ....... But I decided to tear the edges of the DSP for a bit of spooky fun.  I also added some of the new Black Vintage Crochet Trim around the bottom DSP panel.
I used the spider web stamp that is in the 'Sweet Home' stamp set and added that image to the top right corner of my card......
And the final touch for my card was using a layer of 'Fine Tip Glue Pen' over the entire pumpkin that I positioned in the bottom left hand corner.
Just have to ask......
Do you have a favorite???

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Give Thanks Tag

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY THANKS TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.......
I just can't seem to get enough fall tags made this year.  It has been a LONG HOT summer here in Arizona and now that the weather is finally turning a tad bit cooler (80-85 degrees is cool for us), I am in full FALL MODE.
I began this tag by stamping three beautiful leaves from the 'Vintage Leaves' set and using Clear Embossing Powder to create some shine to each one.
I stamped my sentiment with the 'Labels to Love' set and added some 'Linen Thread' behind the sentiment for some fun.
I topped my tag off with some 3/8" Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon and I tied a pretty Linen Thread bow to finish it off.
This tag just SCREAMS FALL to me.
And I can't wait to get back to Madison in a couple weeks and hopefully enjoy some BEAUTIFUL FALL COLORS!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

How's this for a FUN October Customer Thank You card!
I just tore Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock and inked up the edges before adhering them down onto my Whisper White notecard.
The 'thanks' was stamped using the 'Thankful Thoughts' set and Early Espresso ink.....
And I added a pair of goggle eyes to help this card screams......HAPPY OCTOBER!

Hand Sanitizer Holder

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER FUN to create and one that I created to take back to Madison with me in November and give to all my scrapbooking buddies who are meeting up with me the first weekend I'm back there.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
I made this DARLING little hand sanitizer holders for my girlfriends who get together with me when I'm back in Madison for my Thanksgiving visit.
I think they turned out JUST PERFECT ......... And I can't wait to hand these out to my friends.
The packaging holds one of these 2-oz Instant Hand Sanitizers that I picked up at the Dollar Store.......
And I designed the PERFECT FIT for each little bottle.
The holder measurements are a piece of Kraft cardstock that measures.5-15/16" x 5-1/4" and I scored it at 2" on each side.  NOW.....because this is a strange measurement for the holder..........Don't do what I did the first time around and put your piece of cardstock in and measure 2" and slide it over to 4".....IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.  What you will need to do is score your cardstock at 2" then turn your cardstock one turn and score at 2"on that next side.......Turn your cardstock again and score that side at 2" and make one final turn and score that 4th side at 2".  This will give you the perfect measurement for your holder.
For the wrap around flap you will need a piece of Kraft cardstock that measures 2" x 11".  Score that piece at 4-15/16 and at 6-3/16.
I think this sentiment from the 'Lemon Zest' set was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for this project.  I used Black Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder and really gave my sentiment the shine I was looking for.
All I need to do was construct the holder and attach it to the center scored panel of the wrap around flap and this project was done in no time flat.  I just couldn't be happier with the way this project turned out ........ And I can't wait to pass them out to my scrapbooking friends in November.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spooky Cat Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... (all product is from the 2017 Holiday Catalog and the 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is yesterday's Spot Light Sunday on the LEFT....
And today's upgraded Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT!!!
My Mix-It-UP! Monday card really went FULL TILT with the upgrades.
I added a Basic Black ruffled edge to both sides of my card ........ Using the new 'Decorative Ribbon Border Punch'.
That small addition just really gave my card the extra POP I was looking for.
And instead of adding my Stitched-Edge Ribbon to the top of my card ...... I wrapped it around the bottom and that really helped to show-case my "Trick or Treat" sentiment.
So tell me friends..........
Do you have a favorite????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
