SW Stamper April Swap Part Two

Happy Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 39 days to go!
Today I have the last five cards I received from my fellow SW SU demonstrator friends.  Let's jump right in with those cards ........
My first card share today is a beautiful card made by one of my fellow SW Demonstrator friends - but she did not list her name on the back of her card.  She did use the new Summer Smooches DSP and the awesome stamp set "Friendly Phrases" and "Button Buddies".  LOVE how this card came together and the colors just make me SMILE.  MANY THANKS for sharing this card with me (whoever you are!).
My next card share is from Karen ........ I love the shape of this card - and it comes together so nicely with the help of the Scallop Square Bigz Die.  Karen used the new Summer Smooches DSP and her stamp set is from "Pretty Postage".  LOVE LOVE LOVE your card Karen.
My next swap is a fun little door hanger or bottle holder that one of the ladies made - but I don't know her name (and the back isn't signed).  This is a fabulous idea for that someone special you give a bottle of wine to on their birthday........Slip this little holder over the neck of the bottle and you have not only an instant gift ...... but you've created the perfect birthday card too.  MANY THANKS for sharing this lovely swap with me ....... Fabulous project!
This card was made by Linda and she used the Mixed Bunch punch and stamp set to create a beautiful card that screams for me to CASE for my Stamp Camp.  The color is coming up purplish - but the actual color is Perfect Plum and the flowers are stamped and punched out with Pretty in Pink.  Super Nice card Linda - LOVE YOUR CARD!

And my last card swap share is from my good buddy Barbara.  She did a fun technique that involves shaving cream and it got me thinking ........ I need to do that!  She used the "Morning Cup" stamp set and the 2010-2012 In Colrs to create her card.  FABULOUS CARD Barbara - and I love how you used a piece of the Poly Ribbon for that little wow factor on your card.  NICE!

SO ...... there you have it ....... another fabulous month of gorgeous cards from my fellow Stampin' UP! demonstrators.  All the cards were fabulous and I appreciate all the talent that I am surrounded by each and every month I attend our monthly meetings.  Thank You Ladies for incuding me in your group.

I'll be back tomorrow to share some Kards to Kadie creations with you ....... Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

SW Stampers Swap April

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 40 days to go!
Today I will be sharing some of the card swaps that I received from my SW Demonstrator Swap for April.  Here are half of the cards I received.........
First up is the Make n Take that I had the ladies make at our April meeting.  We used the new Petite Purse die and decorated it with the super yummy Summer Smooches DSP.
We added three hershey nuggets to the inside of our purse and called this one done!
This fabulous felt pin was made by a new demonstrator that I did not know.  LOVE how she used felt to diecut her island floral die and stacked them together to create this ADORABLE pin.  OH SO PRETTY ....... and it looks great on my SU apron!
This card was made by Ginny and she used the Button Buddies and Friendly Phrases stamp set to create this super fun floral card.  Great looking card Ginny!
This card was made by Edna ...... She used two sized scallop punches along with the First Edition Speciality Paper to create her flowers.  Nice Nice card Edna!
This card was made by Eliza ..... and she used the Mixed Bunches stamp set and punch to create a beutiful and very elegant "thinking of you" card.  LOVE THIS CARD!
Kendra made this card and she used the Just Believe stamp set and the new Framelits Label Collection dies.  There are so many elements to this card and can only image how much time it took Kendra to complete her card swap.  Fabulous card Kendra - simply fabulous!
This card was made by Sue - I love the color combination Sue used to create her super fun Mother's Day card.  I love how Sue used the negative portion of her flower and then took the punched out piece and created another flower for her card.  BRILLIANT Sue!
And my last card today was made by Linda - I am totally in love with this card!  It uses our new Summer Smooches DSP and even though there isn't a lot of action going on with this card - it totally blows me out of the water on how lovely it came together with the bright and bold color combination.  Totally loving this card Linda!
I'll be back tomorrow to share the rest of the cards I received from my fellow SW SU demonstrators - hope you can join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Real Deals Class

Happy Happy Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 41 days to go!
Today, I want to share some pictures with you of a "FUN TIME" I had with six of my SaddleBrooke GalPals on Thursday night when we attended a FABULOUSLY FUN Composition Notebook Class at our local Real Deals store.

TALK ABOUT FUN.......HOLY BUCKETS FRIENDS - We laughed and all bonded so nicely that I'm sure someone in this groupis already planning another roadtrip.  Check out these fun pictures of the six of us.........
Here we all are (Ann, Linda, Debbie, Lissa, Kris and Me) showing off our masterpieces.  Our fearless leader "KIMBERLY" (in the background on the left) put on the most amazing class Thursday night.  She gave each of us two composition books and told us to "go wild" in the Real Deals classroom and create two masterpiece composition books.  She had some amazing samples of books she had made on each of the tables and Kimbely was available the entire evening to help us out if we were getting stuck.  YIKES oh YIKES.......Did we ever create!
Here is Lissa and Debbie getting creative with their composition books....... (and that is Amy (far right) the owner of Real Deals lending her help to Debbie).  AND.....check out Pam in the background (on the left hand side in the black) ...... Pam is one of my students who attends my monthly Stamp Camp - and I didn't even know she was going to be there. (Hi Pam!)
Here are my table partners Kris (left) and Ann (right) making me LAUGH at my table!
And this is Debbie (left) and Kris (right) discussing the layout possibilities for Debbie's book.
Lissa is my favorite Real Deals class partner ....... I've taken several classes with her and she seriously makes me laugh and we ALWAYS have a good time (no matter what kind of day either of us has been having)!
And here is Lissa and Debbie putting some finishing touches on their last two books.
So.....what did I create Thursday night? I picked out an amazing pink butterfly paper (sorry Debbie) and made a super cute journal book for my granddaughter.
I came home and added a ton of pink and white pearls all over my butterfly.
And Real Deals had this amazing ribbon trim that they allowed me to use .......
And I decorated the inside cover with some coordinating DSP.  I even added a ribbon bookmark to my book - and that way my granddaughter can keep her spot in her book.

I just know my granddaughter is going to love this book.  I didn't get my second book made - but what I'm planning to do is create a second book for my youngest granddaughter and I will give these to them when they come out to visit in June.

Many thanks for joining me today - I'm off to PLAY HARD today and do some SERIOUS shopping tomorrow with two of my girlfriends!   Hope you can come back tomorrow and join me for another Kards by Kadie creation.

April Stamp Club Project

Happy Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 42 days to go!
It's the weekend friends and I hope you have some fabulous plans for the upcoming weekend.  Mine will be spent with some wonderful stamping buddies ....... some glorious time in the sun ........ some super fun shopping time (with friends of course) ........ and some quality time with my Jack!
Here's a recap of the three projects my Club gals made on Saturday - and a special thank you to Martha Sterwart (Florida) and Laura Haffke (NE) for sharing their card creations with us on Stampin' Connection.  Today I will be sharing the fun little Post-it-Note Holder that Breand Quintana created.  Lets get this party started.......
Check out this darling little note holder that Brenda Quintana from TN created on our Stampin' Connection site.  When I saw this fun little post-it-note holder......I knew right out of the gates that I would just have to be making this project.
I figured out the measurements for this fun little holder and you start with a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock that is 3-1/16" x 7-5/8".  Score at 5-1/4", 5", 2" and 1-3/4".  All you need to add is a piece of DSP to the top panel of your holder and I also had the gals add a scallop trim border (which totally set this project over the top).  Each gal got to pick a initial for their holder and we used the Letter It alphabet set an stamped it in Night of Navy on a Very Vanilla piece of cardstock.
All that was left to do was add our post-it-note pad to the center of the pad and we also added a small piece of velcro to the top flap to secure our holder closed.  Not only did I fall in love with this project but all my club gals just FLIPPED over this project and most will be making more of these when they get home.  THANK YOU Brenda for your fabulous creation........You are one talented lady and appreciate you sharing your creation with other SU demonstrators.

I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you - Hope you have a fabulous start to your weekend and can swing back tomorrow and join me for another share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

April Stamp Club Cards

Happy Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 43 days to go!
Today, I would like to share the two cards that my Stamp Club gals made on Saturday.
These are the three projects we made - and I will share the post-it-note purse holder with you tomorrow.  For today.......I have the A2 card and the 3x3 card that my Club gals made on Saturday.
Jan was hostess for our April Stamp Club and she requested we use three stamp sets (WordPlay, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Letter It) for her projects this month.  Above is a fabulous wedding card that we made using the Word Play Stamp Set.
Our card inspiration came from Stampin Connection and a fabulous demonstrator Martha Stewart from Florida.  We took the "happy I do day" from the Word Play stamp set and mounted it to squares of Whisper White.....Bashful Blue and Brushed Silver cardstock.  The base of our card was embossed with the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impression Embossing Folder.
I just love the WOW FACTOR this card took on when we added the Basic Rhinestones Jewel to our center sentiment.  We also added three Basic Pearls to the top square and that just gave our card that little something something it was needing.  MANY THANKS to Martha for her fabulous creation on our Stampin Connection demonstrator site.
And our 3x3 card was a creation that Laura Haffke from Omaha, NE made up (again) on Stampin' Connection site.  This card was created with the help of a pre-order stamp from our new catalog coming out in July called "Bright Blossoms".
We stamped the vase in Island Indigo and used a Bitty Button for one of the flowers.  We also stamped our "thank you" sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and punched that out with the small oval punch.
I also had the girls use our Mat Pack to paper pierce the corner of both the top and the bottom of their card for just a little added something to this little 3x3 card.  LOVE how this card turned out.   A special THANK YOU to Laura Haffke for her wonderful card creation - AMAZING creation!

Tomorrow I'll be back to share the fun little Post-it-Note Purse Holder that the Club gals created - Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

CraftJunkieToo Designer Choice Post

Happy Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 44 days to go!
Today the Design Team Members were asked by Tracy to participate in a Designers Choice post for CraftJunkieToo.  As many of you know ....... I am on the design team for Tracy's CraftJunkieToo blog (http://www.craftjunkietoo.com) and once a month Tracy asks her design team members to create a project.  This month - it is designers choice and that means ..... I get to pick a project ..... Post It and Link It!  So sit back ...... and let me share this super fun project with you.
Isn't this the CUTEST little ENVELOPE CARD you've ever seen?
Believe it or not ...... the base of this card was made from a standard A2 envelope. All I did was seal the envelope closed and cut off about a half inch from one end and that helped me to create a pocket card.  All that was left for me to do was make a card to slide inside the top of my envelope pocket.
I grabbed a couple of my Stampin' UP! flower punches and create a fun little flower that I attached to the top of my card insert and then spent the rest of my time decorating the front of my card.
I added some Summer Smooches DSP to the front of my envelope card and with some more Stampin' UP! punches ....... I was able to create a "WOW you're the best" message for the front of my card and even added a scalloped edge to the center DSP layer.
I also punched out a few more flowers and created some fun layers for the two flowers at the bottom of my card.  I grabbed my Crystal Effects and added a coating of that to the center of my flowers to give it that little "WOW FACTOR" my flowers were screaming for.
The biggest flower was attached to the card insert that I added to the inside of my envelope pocket.  I used the First Edition DSP from Stampin' UP! and punched out two Blossom punches and curled up the edges and added one Island Indigo Boho Blossom punch to the center and top it all off with a Summer Smooch Fabric Brad in the center.  SERIOUSLY CUTE!
Overall........I love love love how this card turned out - and decided that this would be the perfect Challenge Project for my Stamp Club Gals to work on for May.  SO......this past Saturday when my Stamp Club gals met ....... I past out an Envelope.....A piece of First Edition DSP......and a Summer Smooches Fabric Brad.  I then told the gals to go and create "something".  The only requirement I gave them ........ Use all the materials that were in their packet and to bring back to our May Stamp Club a project/card that utilized the envelope as their base project/card.  I know the gals will have fun making "SOMETHING" with their supplies ...... and I will share with you their projects in May.

Many THANKS for joining me today - and a hope you have an opportunity to head over to Tracy's blog (http://www.craftjunkietoo.com) to see all the FABULOUS PROJECTS my fellow Design Team Members created ........ I promise you ...... You won't be disappointed!

I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you ....... Keep Living Your Dream!

Kards to Kadie Share Day

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 45 days to go!
Today I will be sharing a FABULOUS Kards to Kadie creations with you.
Let's JUMP right in.......
Can you identify these four gals?????????
It's ME (driving) with the three GalPals that went up to the CK Convention last weekend in Mesa.  Jan made each of us this DARLING "Mesa or Bust" card and gave it to us on the Sunday when we were leaving the convention.
I'm driving the car.......Cheri is in the backseat......Chris is in the middle and Jan is waving her arms up in the air on the end.  I asked Jan where she bought the adorable "Mesa or Bust" stamp and ........ get this...... SHE WROTE THAT!  Unbelievable or WHAT?
And this is the cute cute cute gift that Jan handed each of us when we left SaddleBrooke on Friday morning.  The little box is adorable ....... but honestly ........
The gift inside was such a sweet little surprise.........
It was a bottle of bubblebath that we could use at the end of one of our long convention days.  TOO STINKIN DARLING!   I of course didn't get even come close to finding time to soak in the tub during convention ....... but I will be using it in my big soaking tub at my house in the next week or two.

Many Thanks Jan for your amazing gifts - I already have your card displayed on my hanging card display in my studio.  LOVE IT!

I'll be back tomorrow to share a CraftJunkieToo Designer Choice post with you - Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

My 2012 Gardens

Happy Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving = 46 days to go!
Today I have a NON-Kards by Kadie post to share with you ........ but one that has EVERYTHING to do with why I LOVE LOVE LOVE living in Arizona!  Check out this GORGEOUS VIEW!
This is what I see every time I look out my kitchen window!  There is something dreamy about waking up in the morning and standing at my kitchen sink and taking in this amazing view - while I'm making myself an espresso.  (I often times wonder ....... does it get any better than this?)
And if I stroll outside and head towards our backyard from the Ramada side of our house ....... This is the view I am greeted to!
I have to admit that neither Jack or I have a CLUE what the names of over half of the beautiful things we plant in our yard ......... but what we do know is ..... we love color and we pack as much color as we possibly can in our gardens.
 We have beautiful Yellow flowers........
 Purple Flowers .........
 White flowers .......
 Red ........
 Yellow .......
 More Purple .........
 More Yellow ........
 More White ........
Some Pink (of course) and Orange .......
 More Yellow ........
 Some Melon .......
 And RED .......
And our gardens always include Cosmos........
 In all their glorious beauty!
I think the single best thing about our yard is that we have pops of color all over the yard!
We even manage to tuck flowers into spots JUST BECAUSE!
But without a doubt ........ I wouldn't have these beautiful gardens without all the hard work that Jack continues to put into watering and making sure that our gardens continue to grow during the entire HOT HOT SUMMER MONTHS of Arizona.  He truly has a PASSION for gardening and LOVES to water and tend to all our gardens ........ EVERY DAY!  (thanks honey!)

I thank you for indulging me with this fun little walk through my gardens - I promise to be back tomorrow to share with you some Kards to Kadie creations that I've received.  THANKS for stopping by today and Keep Living Your Dream!
