Smell The Coffee

Today we are leaving to head over to San Diego to visit Jack's youngest son Gabe and his family - but wanted to get a quick post off to spot-light my favorite beverage in the ENTIRE WORLD.....espresso coffee......YUM! I made this FUN coffee shaker card last month and plan to send it to my BFF in Wisconsin - she too LOVES ESPRESSO.
Here is a view of the front of the tag I created for my card.....Don't you just LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of fresh coffee beans?
Here's a close-up of the shaker portion of this card....and YES....that is actual espresso beans in the shaker compartment of the card. I made a couple of this card - and only because I knew that I would have to keep one for myself........(UHHHHMMMMM.....Is admitting you have a problem the first step?)
Thanks for stopping by today - and I will post tomorrow from San Diego. Keep Living Your Dream! (I am)

5-Circle SPIN

Sharing a card today that I made in March - which I wanted to create several cards to keep on hand as "Anything" type of cards. Here is a perfect card to fit that requirement. The first is my favorite (RED) with a touch of Pink and some pretty prima flowers. I've left the oval blank so I can add my wishes to the center using my small oval punch.
Here's my chocolate chip version - Just know my daughters are going to love this version.
And a yummy pink version - which will be perfect for my granddaughters.
Here's a group shot of all four colors that I made. Glad I spent the extra time to create several of each color - I now have some extra cards on hand for when I'm needing to send a get well or thinking of you card out to a friend.
Hope to see you tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Peter

Today is Jack's oldest son Peter's Birthday. Happy Birthday Pete! I made this birthday card from a retired SU stamp set. It was a FUN and HAPPY card to make.
Here's a close up of the Happy Birthday banner that I added to the top portion of the card.
And a close-up of the ribbon that I added to the top green card stock. I selected four primary colored ribbon and punched a hole in the top of the green CS and threaded my ribbon through the holes.
It's one of those birthday cards that makes the person sending and the person receiving the card SMILE and feel HAPPY.
Hope you having a fabulous Monday and I'll be posting a special 5-circle spin card tomorrow. Until tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

SHUFFLE Card

Here's a GREAT card to send to someone who might be having some issues with YET another Birthday. I scanned four playing cards into my computer and then printed them out on Whisper White CS. I punched the playing cards out with my SU small tag punch - and used black card stock and the SU Tag Punch to create the background tag for the playing cards. I printed the "You May Shuffle A Little Slower" greeting on my computer. This would also make a GREAT card for anyone who is going to Vegas on vacation or for a long weekend. Just add a fun greeting to the front of the card (in place of my "Shuffle Slower" greeting and you have a great card to send off to someone. Keep Living Your Dream!

Fun Fold Card

Have this FUN FOLD card to share with you today - that is WAY TOO DIFFICULT for me to begin to type out how this card folds. I'm HOPING that you will get the idea when you view the following photo's. This card is made using the retired SU Key Tag punch - but you could use squares or cirlces in place of the key tag punch that I used.
The idea is it's a standard A2 card that has a small flap added to the right side of the card - which creates the flap that fold over the front of your card.
Then with the help of the Key Tag Punch - those elements fold over your extended flap and closes up your card. (told you it was too complicated to explain...hope the photo's help. (Clear as MUD?)
If it still doesn't make sense to you.......give me a yell and I'll get your mailing address and mail one to you. Seeing is understanding in this case.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you visit tomorrow for more of my card creations. Keep Living Your Dream.

Sweet Little Purse Cards

With Mother's Day not far away - I want to share a Purse card I created and probably will be using for several of my Mother's Day cards. I CASE'd the idea from several fellow SU demonstrators who designed similar cards using SU punches. This first purse card is using Rose Red DSP and Card Stock. I also used the Boho Blossoms punch and the retired Key Tag Punch.
This sweet little purse is made with So Saffron DSP and CS. I used the Round Tab punch to create the purse and the small oval punch to create the handles.
And my final purse creation is made with retired Pacific Point DSP and CS. I used the Key Tag punch and Small Oval punch to create this purse.
Here's a group shot of the purse cards I created - Just makes me want to plan a road trip to the Coach store to select a great new Coach Bag.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you can drop back tomorrow. Keep Living Your Dream!

NO FOOLING.....

Not even going to try to fool you today with a CRAZY "April Fools Day" - but I will KICK OFF April with four delightful Spring Cards that will without a doubt fool you into believing that WINTER is finally over. With it being April 1st, I have to say that the worse of winter is behind us and it's time to bust out with some prety spring type colors.....so...let's GO...... Wouldn't be Spring without Pink and Pale Yellow combined to create a "Sending Happy Thoughts" card your way.
And whenver I think Spring - I am pulled to Pale Blue and a Soft Green. Add a punch of orange and it screams...."Just Saying Hello".
Two of my all time favorite color combinations Pink (for me) and Orange (for Jack). Love these two colors together. Think it makes the perfect "Friends" card.
And Spring just wouldn't be complee without some form of purple and lavender mixed together to create a fun "Have a Glorious Day" card. So....No Fooling......Spring has arrived and I look forward to sharing with you the cards I created in March.......Hope to see you back tomorrow! Keep Living Your Dream!
