Life Happier Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! 

Today is Mix-It-UP! Monday, and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ..... But I changed things up to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

Here's my Spotlight Sunday card from yesterday on the TOP....

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the BOTTOM....

The first upgrade I made to my card for today was changing up the orientation from a Portrait style card to a Landscape style card.

Next, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" panel of Night of Navy to the top of my card.  I added two panels of the 'Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper' to the top and bottom section of the Night of Navy panel.  I only adhered the bottom DSP on three sides ..... So, I could create a gift card holder.

I did add some 'Night of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon' around the bottom DSP before I adhered that panel down ...... And tied it up into a pretty knot in the center.

My sentiment was stamped onto circle from the 'Give It A Whirl Dies' and I tucked it under the ribbon knot.  I also added three little hearts from the 'Give It A Whirl Dies' and added a layer of 'Fine Tip Glue Pen' to the top of each heart to create some PRETTY SHINE!!!

And here's a look at how the card looks with the gift card removed.
