BIG BIRD card

HAPPY Sunday to you! Today I will be sharing a FUN BIG BIRD card with you. I had SO MUCH FUN making this card that I ended up making SEVERAL other Sesame Street characters. I will be sharing the others with you all next week. Here is Big Bird in all his GLORY. Don't you just love how BRIGHT he turned out?
The SU Scallop Bigz Die and several SU circle and oval punches were used to make my Big Bird.
I plan to share several other Sesame Street creations with you over the next couple of days. Please stop back tomorrow to see who from Sesame Street will be stopping by. Hope to see you tomorrow and remember - Keep Living Your Dream!

Thank You Flower Card

Happy Saturday to you! Going to share a card with you today that will be one of those card which you can make and hold off stamping any message on the front. When you need a beautiful and charming card......you will want to grab one of these and send it off to a friend, neighbor or family member. I used the retired SU set Two Step Stampin Petal Prints (but you could use ANY two step flower set). It's one of those sets I "GO TO" when I'm wanting to stamp a flower. It's a two step stamp set that not only is easy to work with - but also generates a PERFECT flower every single time.
Here's a close-up of the flower which I stamped on Whisper White and I think the colors on this card would make anyone feel special.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow. Until Sunday - Remember - Keep Living Your Dream!

Petal Pizzazz Card

WOW.....Talk about PIZZAZZ.....this fun card came together in a SNAP! I started out by using my BigShot Scallop Square Die as my base card and then started layering FUN COLORS and shapes to this card. I used the SU Petal Pizzazz stamp set (page 113 in the Idea Book & Catalog) and after stamping this image, I used my Paper Snips to cut out the Pizzazz Flower. I then added some stitching to the frame of the card using my White Gel Pen.
I made a dozen or so of these cards and figured I would keep them in my completed card supply cabinet and I could use them for every day cards.
Thanks for stopping by and I will keep the card sharing experience going tomorrow with yet another card I created in February. Until tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

Balloon Surprise Card

Happy Thursday to you. Today I will be sharing a surprise card that I made using a stamp set that was not intended to be used the way I used it. Here is the stamp set called "Pick a Petal" - and this stamp set was intended to be used to make petals for flowers. I stamped the pok-a-dot image of this stamp set in Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Apricot Appeal. I then cut each of the flowers (balloons) out using my Paper Snips. I added dimensionals to the back of each Balloons and bunched them together in the center of my card. Using my black SU marker, I added a line to make it look like a string was holding the balloons together and then attached a colorful SU ribbon to the center of that string. This made for a bunch of Instant Birthday Balloons.
Here's a close-up on the stamped balloons. Too Cute (if I do say so myself)!
These cards are super fun to make and allow me to make MANY in an assembly line fashion - so I can keep a good supply of these cards on hand for Birthdays.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow. Keep Living Your Dream!

Bird Houses

When the SU Occasions Mini Catalog came out in January - I knew I HAD TO HAVE the Mini Milk Carton Die (page 23). I also knew that this would be the first creation I would make with it. This milk carton die makes the most adorable mini birdhouse by adding a 4"x2" piece of Old Olive CS (scoring it at 2") will make the roof for your birdhouse. I inked the edges of all the CS and assemblied it by using Sticky Strip adhesive. I added a small bird from one of my Cricut Cartridges and cut a few thin stripes of Close to Cocoa CS to make grass to add to the opening.
Plan to make a bunch of these for my Stamping Buddies/Neighbors for Spring and adding a small package of bird seed to the opening and hanging them on their mailbox.
Thanks for stopping by and tomorrow I will share a Balloon Birthday Card I made using a stamp set from SU that was suppose to be used to make flowers.
See you tomorrow and remember - Keep Living Your Dream!

Yum Yum Card

Happy Tuesday to you! Today I will be sharing a bright and cheerful card that I made for a February Birthday.

I used Bright Yellow and Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and added Real Red Cardstock for an accent color.

Using a retired "Tag Stamp", I stamped the Yum Yum with Tempting Turquoise and punch it out using the SU small tag punch. I then punched out the SU Tag punch in Real Red and matted the small tag piece onto that. I added some linen thread to the tag and hung it from two pieces of ribbon.

I added some stitching to my card with my white gel pen and called it a Happy Birthday Card. I'm sure that the bright colors I used on this card made my friend smile.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow for yet another card I made in February. Keep Living Your Dream!

Large Star Card

Here's a fun little birthday card I made for one of my friends in February. I'm thinking that this might make a FUN 4th of July card too! I used the Large and Small Star punch from SU and layered each of the stars onto a squared piece of matching card stock. I added a colored brad to the center of each star and stamped a Happy Birthday message in the left hand corner.
Super Easy and Super Quick Card.
Thanks for stopping by and stop back tomorrow for yet another card I made in February. See you tomorrow and remember - Keep Living Your Dream!
