Happy Thursday to you. Today I will be sharing a surprise card that I made using a stamp set that was not intended to be used the way I used it. Here is the stamp set called "Pick a Petal" - and this stamp set was intended to be used to make petals for flowers. I stamped the pok-a-dot image of this stamp set in Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Apricot Appeal. I then cut each of the flowers (balloons) out using my Paper Snips.
I added dimensionals to the back of each Balloons and bunched them together in the center of my card. Using my black SU marker, I added a line to make it look like a string was holding the balloons together and then attached a colorful SU ribbon to the center of that string. This made for a bunch of Instant Birthday Balloons.
Here's a close-up on the stamped balloons. Too Cute (if I do say so myself)!
These cards are super fun to make and allow me to make MANY in an assembly line fashion - so I can keep a good supply of these cards on hand for Birthdays.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow. Keep Living Your Dream!
Hey Kadie! Thanks for letting me know about your blog! This card is great! I love the way you did the balloons and the corner treatment rocks!
