Hello Cactus Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! 

Today is Mix-It-UP! Monday, and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ..... But I added a couple additional products found in that same catalog to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

Here's my Spotlight Sunday card from yesterday on the TOP.....

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the BOTTOM.....

The first upgrade I made for my card today was change the size of my card to a Slim Line style card.  That in itself gave me WAY MORE real-estate to add to my card. 

I took full advantage of that extra real-estate by stamping a total of three sets of Barrel Cactus for this upgraded card.

I also wanted to use the 'Gingham Embossing Folder' on my Evening Evergreen panel and that helped create a try Southwest feel for my card.

I tucked three little "Hello" banner flags next to each framed cactus image.....

And added a '2021-2023 In Color Jewels' to the center of all three pots.

So, there you have it friends......

Don't you just LOVE this upgraded version?

Hello Cactus

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends

Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the 2022 Stampin' UP! Mini Catalog.  This card uses several products from that new catalog ........ And I'm thrilled with the way it turned out.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today..........

I am totally LOVING the card that I am going to share with you today.  In part it's because I live in Arizona, and I ADORE all cactus (potted and alongside the road) and because I have MANY potted cactuses on my Ramada.

I started my card off with a Soft Succulent base card.  The very next thing I did was wrap some of the OVER-THE-TOP YUMMY 'Soft Succulent Satin Ribbon' around the fold and tied it up into a pretty knot.

Next, I got busy and stamped my pot and cactus onto a layering panel ....... I used the 'Cactus Cuties' set to stamp my image.......

And that same set was used for my sentiment.

And that was all it took to create this BEAUTIFUL card.

LOVE YOU times three

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And I would like to share with you the project I created using the January 'Kisses & Hugs" Paper Pumpkin kit.   Here's that project.......

I am TOTALLY IN LOVE with the way this card turned out.

I started out with a White base card and added a panel of 'Gold Foil Paper' right down the center of my card.

Then I die-cut three gold foil circle using the 'Layering Circles Dies'........ 

And added three hearts from the 'Sweet Hearts Dies' using the paper within this kit......

And finally, I stamped my "Love You" message onto three banner flags and added those to the top of all those layering pieces.

One additional piece I added to the front of my White base card was adding a 1/4" and 1/2" scored edge on both side of this panel ...... And that was created with the help of my 'Simply Score Board'.

And that all it took my friends......

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Friends Friday.  On Friday's, I have the honor of spot-lighting some of the fabulous cards and projects that I received from Friends ....... Fellow Demonstrators ........ and Family.  Each of these creations are works of art........and it is with great pleasure that I share with you today some AMAZING projects that three very special friends made for me.

My first card share for today is from my OH SO TALENTED and WITTY friend Donna Fritz.  I am so HONORED that she includes me in her holiday mailings ....... And she ALWAYS send the funniest message on the inside of her cards.  She did not disappoint for her Valentine's Day card......

How funny is this message!!!!

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY TAG.  Now that you have the details for my Tag Thursday creation for this week ........ Let's jump right in with my tag share for today........

My ADORABLE tag for today comes together SUPER FAST!

I started out with a Mint Macaron base tag.  I used the envelope die from the 'Sweet Hearts Dies' and cropped out three using the 'Abstract 4x6 Beauty Designer Series Paper'.

My sentiment was stamped onto a banner flag cropped out from the same 'Sweet Heats Dies' and used the 'Flowing Flowers' set to stamp that sentiment.

My tag was topped off with some 'Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon' and tied together with some 'White Baker's Twine'.

The finishing touch for this tag was adding three tiny hearts to the center of each envelope.  And those hearts were cropped out using the 'Here For You Dies'.  

And that's all it took to create this pretty tag.

Birthday Mouse

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

This card was SO MUCH FUN to create.  I started out with a White base card that measures 7-3/4" x 4-1/4".  I scored this base card at 2-1/4". This helped me create the drop-down flapped section for the front of my card.

And here is how the card opens.

The flap down section is created using both the 'Scallop Contours Dies' and the 'Stitched Rectangle Dies'.  My little mouse and balloon are from the 'Mischievous Mice' set.

The inside of my card is decorated with some 'Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper' and the sentiment is from the 'Mischievous Mice' set.

Here's a close-up of the decorated balloon ..... And after stamping the balloon, I added some 'Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper' to the top of that stamped balloon.

The front top section and inside are decorated with more of the 'Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper'.

I am COMPLETELY in LOVE LOVE LOVE

with the way this card turned out.

Note Card Box

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is '3D/CASE IT TUESDAY'.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project that I found on the internet ....... And I created a CASE of that project to share with you today.  This project was SUPER FUN to create, and I want to jump right in and share that project with you now.

This 3D project was inspired by Cindy Brumbaugh ....... Who shared a video on how to create this box back on June 12, 2019.  It might be a couple years old......But still a GOODIE.  Here is the link to her Utube video:  Stampin' Up Scalloped Notecards Holder - YouTube

I fell in LOVE with this box design and made a few slight tweaks of my own to end up with this DARLING Note Card Gift Box.

For the base box I used Bermuda Bay card stock and measured out a 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" piece.  It was scored (with the long side at the top of my Simply Score Board) at 3-3/4", 4-1/2", 8-1/4" and 9".  Then on the short side I scored at 3/4" and this formed the bottom of my box.  For the flap-over section, I used a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock that measures 3-3/4" x 10".  I scored at piece at 5-1/4" and 6".

I was able to tuck five fairly chunky note cards inside and also coordinating envelopes for each.

These are the five cards I created.  I used 'Mischievous Mice' stamp set along with some 'Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper' to decorate my cards.

I also decorated the front of my box using the 'Scalloped Contours Dies' for the scallop edge.
