Wine Down Wednesday - Birthday Gift Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

This fun birthday card comes together in NO TIME FLAT!

The inside opens up to reveal a pocket that will hold a gift card.

The pocket is created with two Deco Label Framelits that have been scored in the center and adhered together at the side edges.  This will allow your gift card to slide into the center opening of your two sandwiched Deco Label pieces.

All that was left for me to do was add some DSP to the front of my card ....... Stamp my birthday sentiment on the front and add three festive balloons (punched from the 'Balloon Bouquet' punch).

So there you have it friends ....... This card just couldn't be any easier to put together.

3D Tuesday-Gift Box From A Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER QUICK and SUPER EASY to create and the greatest feature is you can use any A2 card you might have on hand and turn it into a fun gift box.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.

For the fun gift box that I created ......... I went back to an old Paper Pumpkin kit and pulled out one of the A2 cards from that kit.

All I did was take off 1/4" from the right side of my card......

Then I opened my card and scored (along the long side) at each of the following measurement. (Keep in mind that the key to these measurements is moving your card over so you are measuring from each of the previous score lines.)  You will score at 3/4" then move over another 2-1/2", then another 3/4", then another 3/4", another 2-1/2" and another 3/4".  And the last measurement is to turn your card and score (along the short side) at 1-1/4".  This measurement is for the bottom of your box.

 

What you will end up with are measurements that give you the gusset side panels for your box.

I decorated the front of my gift box with some circles and left over pieces from this Paper Pumpkin kit.........

And that's all there is to turning an ordinary A2 card into a fun gift box.

Mix It Up Monday - Prettier Kitty

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

Here's my Spot Light Sunday card at the top......

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the bottom.

My Mix-It-UP! Monday card used the same 'Perfect Kitty' stamp set to create my kitty image for this card.....

And all I did was use my new Layering Circle Framelits to die-cut out one additional layer for this Mix-It-UP! Monday card.

My sentiment is stamped with the 'Bunch of Blossoms' set and layered with another 'Layering Circle Framelits' and mounted onto a Bermuda Bay 'Duet Banner' punch piece.

And the VERY BEST ADDITION to this Mix-It-UP! Monday card is the sweet ball of yarn I created with some Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine.

So there you have it friends.  Two ADORABLE KITTY CARDS ........Which one do you like the best?

Spot Light Sunday - Pretty Kitty

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from the new 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  This card uses several new products from that catalog ...... So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........

This card was created with the new 'Pretty Kitty' stamp set.

I stamped my ADORABLE kitty with Black Ink and then colored her in with Smoky Slate ink and my water color brush.  I used my new 'Layering Circles Framelits' to create the Whisper White and Island Indigo circle layers.

My sentiment is also stamped in Black Ink and is from the 'Bunch of Blossoms' set.

I added a panel of Pool Party DSP and wrapped some Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon around that DSP panel and this card was done!

Just crazy about the way this card turned out.

Happy Paper Pumpkin Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have a fun card to share with you!  This card was made with my March Paper Pumpkin kit ....... And I just thought outside the box when I created this card.  I'm thrilled with the way this card turned out ........ And want to share that card with you now.

This happy happy card just makes me smile!

I used the DSP that was included in this kit and added that DSP panel to the bottom of my card.

I then added a Whisper White panel that was run though the Big Shot using the 'Softly Falling' embossing folder.  Between the DSP and Whisper White panels I added a small strip of Bermuda Bay card stock.  All that was left to do was add some Bermuda Bay Baker's to that piece of cardstock.

My final addition was my stamped 'Happy Happy' that was adhered to a Whisper White punched Flower Medallion and then mounted to a Bermuda Bay punched circle.

So there you have it friends ........ A bright and happy happy card.

Friends Friday

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Friends Friday.  Normally on Friday's, I have the honor of spot-lighting some of the fabulous cards that I received from Friends ....... Fellow Demonstrators ........ and Family.  But today I'm going to share with you the rest of the cards and gifts I received for my 4th of July Birthday.

First up is the SUPER FUN birthday card that my dear friend Sandra made for me.

My second card is the BEAUTIFUL birthday card that my friends Liz and Elizabeth gave me.  AND LOOK.......A Starbucks card.......OH YES!!!!

This next card and gift were given to me by my sweet friend and fellow Hospice co-worker Barbara.

Barbara made this GORGEOUS sunflower for me. 

And my last card/gift share is from my good SaddleBrooke friend Liz.  Not only did she make me this OVER THE TOP birthday card.......

But she also made me this SIMPLY FANTASTIC box with hidden compartments inside.  I LOVE IT!!!!!

 

So there you have it friends ........ The rest of my sweet birthday cards and gifts from some VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS.
