Wine Down Wednesday - Thoughtful Things

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

This card looks very complicated to make........But Stampin' UP! has taken all the work out of it with the help of the 'Detailed Floral Thinlits'.  Let me share the steps with you.......

I began by stamping my sentiment from the 'Floral Phrases' stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I used Dapper Denim ink to stamp my sentiment.

Right below the sentiment I added some 3/8" Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon to bring some balance to my Whisper White panel.

The 'Detailed Floral Thinlits' die was die-cut from some Dapper Denim cardstock and I created a pocket with this panel and mounted it onto a single panel of Dapper Denim cardstock (4-1/4" x 5-1/2").

As you can see from the picture above ........ The Whisper White sentiment panel slides in and out of the die-cut 'Detailed Floral Thinlits' pocket.

And it's just that easy to create this gorgeous floral pocket panel.

I think this card would look fabulous in almost any color ....... Why don't you try making one in your favorite color combination.

3-D Tuesday/Halloween Beakers

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project is SUPER QUICK and SUPER EASY to create and the greatest feature is you only need some spooky containers and candy to create it.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.

How fun is this trio of beakers packed full of Halloween candy!

Each beaker is filled with some yummy Halloween candy.....

Topped off with some 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon......

And then wrapped up with some Halloween Night Baker's Twine and two Mini Tassels hanging off the twine.

Here's a close-up of the Burlap Ribbon - which I wrapped around the neck of the bottles ....... and the darling little Mini Tassels - which are hanging from the twine.

I have these set-up on my dining room side-board ......... Which lucky for me is a path I rarely travel through our house.  (Otherwise ......... this candy would be GONE in a heartbeat!!!!!  Only because I know I'm a real SUCKER for any kind of Halloween candy!)

Mix-It-UP! Monday - Tag Packaging

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the tags that I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's tags ....... but I added a couple additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog) to bring these tags to the next stamping level.

Here's the packaging I created for my tags.

I gathered up all five gift tags and packaged them up to create a lovely gift for someone very special in my life.

Keeping with the same flower tag theme ....... I created this larger tag for the front of my package.  I used the 'Gift of Love' stamp set for my flower and stamped my "Just For You" sentiment with the help of the wonderful 'Watercolor Words' stamp set.

I matted the tag for my package with some Rich Razzleberry cardstock ...... And used the 'Blooms and Bliss' DSP to create the belly band around my 'Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bag'.  I added some Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon around my belly band and called this packaging idea done!

A precious gift that was given to a dear friend for being the great sounding board that a friend could be.

Spot Light Sunday - Group of Tags

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a grouping of tags that I created using product from the new 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.  These tags use several new products from that catalog ...... So let me jump right in with my tag share for today.........

I'm just in love with the way this group of tags turned out.  I created five different color versions of this tag ....... And all five tags use the same stamp set and ribbon topper for each one.

This tag was created with the gorgeous Hostess Set 'Gift of Love'.

Each flower outline image was stamped with Basic Black ink and then I used the two step stamps that come with this set and colored in my flowers and leafs for each image.  

I also used the 'For You' sentiment that is included in this set and sprinkled some sequins around the Whisper White tag for a little pop of fun!

Each tag is topped off with some 5/8" Burlap Ribbon and tied up into a pretty bow with the Solid Basic Black Baker's Twine.

Paper Pumpkin THANKS Card

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And do I have a fun card I made with the April kit.  I added some extra cardstock to this kit and came up with this fun thanks card.  Let me share that card with you now........

How this for a quick thank you kind of card!

I used a panel of retired Schoolhouse DSP to create a bold focal point for the front of my card.  And at the top of this panel I wrapped some Whisper White ribbon and tied it up into a pretty knot.

To balance things out ..... I stamped my sentiment onto a panel of Basic Black cardstock and used White Embossing Powder to make it really pop.

Three Island Indigo Candy Dots topped the right hand corner of my card.....

And a pretty punched Pool Party and Island Indigo flower finished off my sentiment panel.

Freaky Friday - Jar of Candy Corn

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Freaky Friday.  For the month of September........I am going to take a break from posting my normal Friends Friday posts and spot light some freaky Halloween cards I've been making.  Each of these cards will use some of the AMAZING PRODUCT that is featured in the new 2016 Holiday Catalog.  Now that you have the details for Freaky Friday.......Let's jump right in with my first Freaky Friday card share.........

How's this for a 'Jar FULL of FUN'.

I started out my card by adding two panels of 'Halloween Night' Designer Series Paper and then adding some of the new 'Halloween Night' Baker's Twine around the bottom portion of my card.

My sentiment was stamped from the 'Mr. Funny Bones' set......

And after stamping my jar ...... I filled it with some yummy stamped candy corn.

I used my Fine Tip Glue Pen over my colored candy corn and that brought a super shiny surface to each of the candies in my jar.

A simply yummy card that will make someone on my Halloween card giving list SMILE BIG when they receive it.

Tag Thursday

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!

My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER PRETTY THANK YOU TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.

These tags were created for my Stamp-of-the-Month Club members.

I created these tags for my members to receive with their September club orders.

I used the 'Touches of Texture' stamp set to create my stamped background image for each tag.....

And I used several punches and layers to create each tag.

I also added some ribbon and bling to the tags......

Along with decorating the punched butterflies with my Wink of Stella pen.

Each tag turned out just a tad different from the next........

But each tag passed on my special message to my club gals on just how important they are to me.
