Welcome Card

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Well........Today is the BIG DAY ........ I'm on my way back to beautiful Madison, Wisconsin.  I'm planning to spend the next three weeks visiting my daughters and my (not so) little people back in Wisconsin.  So my hopes are I can stay connected with you, even while I'm in Wisconsin on vacation.
My card share for today is this SUPER HAPPY welcome to the neighborhood card.
I stamped my "Life's Adventure" stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a banner of Whisper White cardstock.
I then grabbed my Blendabilities and colored in my stamped image.
After I was happy with the way my stamped image turned out.......I grabbed some Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay cardstock and created a fun little layered flag piece.  And the final touch was adding some Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon to the very bottom of my flag piece.
This was a FUN CARD to make ...... and plan to give this little cutie away to those new neighbors that have moved in the neighborhood.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a beautiful flower card ........... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Enjoy the Adventure

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
I'm spending the day today getting ready to leave in the morning to fly back to Madison, Wisconsin for a couple weeks.  So to say I'm busy is an UNDERSTATEMENT!  Before I jump in with my card share for today.......Here's my Twoie at 11 month's old.
My daughter snapped with picture of Twoie and forgot to send it to me.........
It's Twoie's 11th Month picture with his Chow.
Could this little CUTIE be any HAPPIER?
HAND'S DOWN......Twoie is going down in the books as being my happiest grandbaby.

Today I have another card that was inspired from the Stampin' UP! demonstrator site........Stampin' Connection.  Here's the card I made.........
My This card using the new stamp set "Life's Adventure".
I stamped the bicycle in Chocolate Chip ink onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I left enough room on that Whisper White cardstock so I could add three colorful banners.
The banners were made from Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Rose Red cardstock.
And I added a small heart punch to the very right hand edge of each of the banners.  The perfect little accent touch was to add a small pearl to the center of each heart.
And as you can see.......Each colorful banner was tapered down to create a stair-step look on my Whisper White panel.
SUPER HAPPY how this card turned out......and will be sending this card out to someone special this next week.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a sweet "welcome to the neighborhood" card ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

I spotted it on Stampin' Connection (a private site for Stampin' UP! Demonstrators) and fell in LOVE with the design.
I used the new Flower Patch stamp set to create my Lost Lagoon flower.
Here' a close-up of all the layers that went onto my Lost Lagoon flower.  My accent color is Soft Sky ink.
I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock to create my leafs.
And my Whisper White panel was embossed using the new Lovely Lace embossing folder.
My DSP banner was creating using the Subtles DSP stack.....
And my sentiment banner was created with Soft Sky ink and the "And Many More" stamp set.
This is such a pretty card.....I'm planning to make up a bunch o these and hold off creating the sentiment - and I can then stamp whatever I'm needing when the time comes that I need to send out a quick card.

On awards night.....we went to this FABULOUS Italian place that was located right across the street from our hotel.  OH SO YUMMY......

And here is Abbie, Me and Debbie at our first workshop on Thursday morning.

Here's a close-up of those notecards.
This purse was a Melon Mambo purse that was decorated with some Whisper White embossing powder.

Each of the ladies who attended convention with me got one of these.
I was able to put their initial on the front of the luggage tag......and then their addy info on the back.
I used the Labels Collection Framelits for the front and also used the Brights DSP Collection Pack.  The letter was embossed with White embossing powder and of course LOTS of fun current and retired SU ribbon was used to PRETTY UP the ring of each luggage tag.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the last convention gift I made for my gals ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for this share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Well, the 2014 Stampin' UP! Convention has come to an end........but I'm so EXCITED for all the fun that was shared at keep me going back in Arizona for some tine.
I have more convention gift to share with you........Today, I have the notepads and pencil covers I made for the ladies that joined me for the 2014 SU Convention.  Here is what I made for each of them.
The notebook opens up to reveal a small note-pad that has a coordinating DSP panel across the top of the pad.  (I took these Junior Legal Pads into the office supply store and asked them to cut them down to 2-1/4".........and they were able to create two pads for each Jr Legal Pad in the package.)
I also bought some mechanical pencils and added a fringed topper to each of the pencils.  These came together with a strip of DSP and my SU Fringed Scissors.......and of course of Sticky Tape to keep everything attached.
Here's the measurements for the notebooks:
Notebook: 8-1/2" x 4-7/8"
Score 2-5/16"  and 2-9/16"
DSP Panel: 2" x 6-1/4"
White Top Panel: 1-3/4" x 2"

Convention Gift Boxes

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Well it's our last day at the 2014 SU Convention and I am SO IMPRESSED with what SU has in store for this fall.  Can't wait to get back to Arizona and start playing with some of the new stuff we received.
My Share today are the two boxes I made for the gals who went with me to convention this year.  Let's jump right in with the Tic-Tac holder........
I purchased these Tic Tac for convention and created the darling holder so the ladies could re-use the holder when they ate up all the original Tic Tac.  Here's the dimensions for the holder:
Base Holder 3-1/4" x 4-3/4"
Score on 4-3/4" side at 2" and 2-3/4"
DSP Panels for front and back of holder: (Qty 2) 1-3/4" x 3" panels
DSP Panel for spine of holder: (Qty 1) 1-1/2" x 3" panel
Tic Tac Belly Band Holder: 8-1/2" x 3/4' (this piece wraps around your tic tac candies)
DSP for Belly Band: 2-5/8" x 1/2"
Perfect solution to having a pretty packaging for the Tic Tac's in your purse.
And my second box creation was this lovely little box........
Base Box: 4" x 9"
Score on 4" side at 1" both sides
Score on 9" side at 1, 4, 5, 8"
DSP: (Qty 1) 2-3/4" x 1-3/4 (For the Top)
(Qty 2) 1-3/4"x 3/4" (For the 2-short sides of your box)
(Qty 2) 2-3/4" x 3/4" (For the 2-long sides of your box)
When opened up......of course there was chocolate inside......
And all I did was wrap some DSP around the Hersey Nuggets and called this project DONE!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the notepad and pencil gifts that I made for the 2014 convention.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
