Hummingbird Update DAY 2

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Before I share my card share with you today......I want to give you my Hummingbird Update...DAY Two.  The second egg hatched yesterday (and right on schedule.....It was day 16 for egg number two) and I was actually able to get these pictures early Friday morning.

It was pretty amazing that I was able to get these pictures taken before Momma came back.....and the little hummer in the bottom location of the nest was actually moving all around while I was taking these pictures.  I'm SO BLESSED to have this Momma Hummingbird feel comfortable building her nest right on our patio.

My share today is a pretty card I received for Mother's Day from my sweet friend Maureen.  Check out this super sweet card......
Maureen started out by embossing this amazing grass folder and then using a sponge and some ink to highlight both the sky and the grass.
Here's a close-up of the sponging she did on the grass.  It's amazing the WOW FACTOR the sponging gave to this card.
Her lady bug was made with three scallop circle punches that were glued together and then adhered down onto the base card.
I just love how sweet this ladybug turned out.  This has given me the idea to make some of these with Hailey on one of our Skype Sundays.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share three cards that I received from my Upline Lisa Pretto.......Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

HummingBird UPDATE and May CrafterNooner Swap Cards

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the cards that my friends Opal and Jan made for our May CrafterNooners Swap card.  BUT......before I share those cards with you......I have SUPER GREAT NEWS!  Our Momma Hummingbird's first egg hatched yesterday.  It was right on schedule at 16 days.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that the second egg will hatch either today or tomorrow.  Here's what our first little hummer looks like........

You can see him next to the one egg that hasn't hatched yet........and even though he looks like a good size.....Honestly he is only the size of my little finger nail.  I think I will name this little guy SPIKE!   I'll keep you posted when the second egg hatches.
SO.....on with my card share for today.  First up is Opal's card.  Opal used a Melon Mambo card base and added a Pretty in Pink panel to the front of her card and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.
She embossed three gorgeous flowers and added them to a string of ribbon and then onto a piece of FUN ribbon that ran the length of her card.
She also added some little daisy flowers and a 'heart' sentiment to the front of her card. This is a GORGEOUS Card Opal and I honestly have to say that this is a TRUE Kadie Card from start to finish.  LOVE THIS CARD!

Next up is Jan's May CraterNooner Swap card......
Jan made this EXTRA SPECIAL Birthday card that packs a LOT of punch......
Jan used a "Happy Birthday" embossing folder and created some WOW flag banners and arranged them PERFECTLY on her card.  AWESOME CARD JAN!  Might just have to send this one to my granddaughter who loves purple.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you - Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

My May CrafterNooner Swap Card

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the card that I made for my CrafterNooners Shoe Box Buddies card exchange for May.  Here's the card I made.........
I took my inspiration from the May card my dear friend Kris made for our FU (Fabulously Unique) Group.  I just changed up the colors and got this card finished in NO TIME FLAT!
My sentiment is from the soon to be retired Word Play stamp set.  I stamped it in Island Indigo and used a die from my stash to create my sentiment piece.

I used the "Sent With Love" DSP and matched it up with Pool Party and Island Indigo cardstock.  I made sure that I sponged all my edges and was thrilled with the way this card turned out when I was all finished.

Thanks for joining me today......I'll be back tomorrow to share the cards that Opal and Jan made for our May CrafterNooner's Card Swap.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Congrats Card from Lisa

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a fun little card to share with you.........One that my Upline Lisa Pretto sent to me.  Check out this GORGEOUS CARD!

Lisa used the new Wildflower Meadow Background Stamp to create this card.
She used Soft Sky ink for her Wildflower Meadow stamp.......
And the new Hostess set Express Yourself with Pumpkin Pie ink!
The Pumpkin Pie and Soft Sky look BEAUTIFUL together!
I didn't order this set with my original sneak peek demo order.....but once I saw how beautiful this set stamped........I placed a second sneak peek demo order and ordered both the stamp set AND the Wildflower Meadow Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I will be receiving my second order tomorrow......so Tuesday morning I will bust this new product out and make a few of these cards for my June Thank You card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share my May CrafterNooner swap cards with you.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Saturday Fun Shop

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a great project to share with you........One that my good friend Linda taught at a SaddleBrooke Stampers Saturday Fun Shop a couple weekends ago.  The entire Fun Shop was a "Thinking Outside the Box" event and we signed up for this event not even knowing what we were going to be making.  Needless to say.........NOBODY was disappointed!  Here are the three projects we created........
Linda had us make a journal book.......a candle pot.......and a holder for a wine bottle.
First up is the Journal Book.  We were given a packet of material.......and a composition book.  We covered our book with DSP and added a ribbon bookmark to the inside and decorated the cover with our initial.
Here's what the inside of our book looked like with the DSP adhered.

Next up was this ADORABLE flower pot (that Linda spray painted black for us) and we decorated the outside with some coordinating black and white flowers......along with a sassy piece of ribbon that we adhered to the top edge of our flower pot.
All that was left to do was add some sand and drop in a tea-light candle. DARLING PROJECT!

And our last project was creating this DARLING Wine Bottle Holder.
We punched a hole in the top (where our scallop circle was attached) and that helped to create the hanging portion for our Wine Bottle Holder.
All three of these projects are fabulous gift giving ideas........and I can see making more of these for house-warming gifts for a new neighbor.  MANY THANKS to Linda for doing all the prep work for this Fun Shop......It was SO MUCH FUN and I loved all three of the projects we created.

Thanks for joining me today........I'll be back tomorrow to share a card I received from my Upline Lisa Pretto.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Stamp Club 3-D Project

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the 3-D Project that my Club gals made at last Saturday's Stamp Club.  I wanted to have the gals make a new In-Color Bookmark......and here is what we created......
I received this bookmark file from my Upline Lisa Pretto.......who received it from Patty Bennett.  All I needed to do was print out the file onto Whisper White cardstock........and then cut the file up into five equal bookmarks.\
We used the flower from Betsy Blossom and stamped each of the new In-Colors ink into their corresponding section.
We also used the 1-1/4" Two Tone Ribbon to top-off our bookmarks!
I also had each of the ladies laminate their bookmarks with some 3mil flexible laminating sheets.  This is going to protect the front of the bookmark..........and still leave the back of their bookmark un-laminated so they can use the Stampin' Write Markers on the backside of their bookmark.
Here's what the bookmark looks like with the Basic Gray Two Tone Ribbon!
And the bookmark with the Pink Pirouette Two Tone Ribbon!

So there you have it......the May Stamp Club 3-D Project.  It was fun creating this little cutie and know that the ladies will get lots of use out of their new bookmark in their new catalogs.

Thanks for joining me today.....I'll be back tomorrow to share the projects we made at a recent SaddleBrooke Stampers Fun Shop with you.  Hope you can make plans to stop back for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Stamp Club Card

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I want to share the card that my Stamp Club gals made yesterday at our May Stamp Club gathering.  Check this little cutie out........
My hostess for May was Linda.....and when I asked her what kind of stamp projects she would like to make.....she jumped at flowers (her favorite things to stamp).  So she gave me her favorite flower set (Printed Petals) and this is the sample I came up with for her "Card Project".  We used the new Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe In-Colors and Linda's Printed Petals stamp set for this card.  We used Strawberry Slush cardstock and ink and stamped the smallest flower stamp all over our Strawberry Slush background piece.
We then stamped our largest Printed Petal flower with Strawberry Slush onto a piece of Whisper White ........ and used the smallest Printed Petal flower with Crisp cantaloupe onto a piece of Whipser White and then fussy cut out each of those flowers.  We layered these two flowers together and then topped them off with a Strawberry Slush Boho Blossom punched flower.  The ladies were able to pick what type of brad they wanted to use for the center of their flower.  Here's what the Calypso Coral In-Color brad looks like in the center of one of the flowers.........
And this flower has the same layers as above..........but the center of this flower uses the 3/8" Champagne Basics Glimmer Brad.
And this flower uses the Silver 3/8" Basics Glimmer Brad.
The sentiments were stamped from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set......and the ladies were able to pick which sentiment they wanted for their card. (We used Strawberry Slush ink to stamp our sentiments)
And here's a look at all three of my samples.......Such a pretty card......And one that my Hailey Girl is going to do this week for her Skype Sunday card.

Thanks for joining me today........I'll be back tomorrow to share the 3-D project the Club gals did at our Saturday Stamp Club gathering.  Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
