Tag Thursday Hello Baby

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Cheryl arrived late last night and we were up pretty late laughing and catching up.  But we are planning to work like the devil today (after we go to Starbucks for coffee) to get all the last minute things done for Saddle-UP!
Tonight we are heading down to attend a fun Paint Night.  Check out this pretty scene we will be creating.  Cheryl is super excited to create this painting and hang it in her office at work.  I'll make sure I share with you pictures of how our paintings turned out.  I'm looking forward to a fun packed night with my daughter.

My blog post for today is Tag Thursday.  Today, I will feature a tag I created and show you how easy it is to use minimal supplies to create a SUPER FUN BABY GIFT TAG.  Now that you have the details for this weeks Tag Thursday ....... Let's jump right in with my tag share for today.
I created this DARLING little gift tag with the help of several new Stampin' UP! products.
First up is the FREE Sale-a-Bration Glimmer Pack stack that has recently been added to the 2017 Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I simply added the sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper to the center of my Sweet Sugarplum tag and my tag was off to a fresh start.
Next I stamped the baby image from the 'Moon Baby' set in the Occasions Catalog.
I stamped my baby onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock and then grabbed my 'Layering Oval Framelits' and die-cut out my image.  I stamped this image two more times......Once on So Saffron and another time on Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut out both the umbrella and jammies and then added those directly over my Whisper White stamped image.
For a little extra WOW FACTOR ........ I used my 'Fine Tip Glue Pen' and added a thin layer of this glue to the top of both the umbrella and the jammies ....... And that created a SPARKLY POP to both of those images.  Simply love how shiny and pretty they turned out.
My tag was topped off with some White Organza Ribbon and a small piece of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon.
And a final step was stamping my sentiment and die-cutting it out with the 'Stitched Ovals Framelits Dies'.  A final touch for the sentiment was adding some 'Blushing Bride Sequin Trim' to the sentiment oval and adhered it directly to the Whisper White oval piece.
An ADORABLE baby tag that looks great in both pink, blue or yellow.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some Friends Friday creations with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Wine Down Wednesday Hello Baby Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Well today is the BIG DAY......
Cheryl will be arriving tonight!!!!
My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........
I am just in LOVE LOVE LOVE with the way this card turned out.
I began this card by running my Whisper White panel through my Big Shot using the 'Petal Burst' Embossing Folder.
Next I stamped my little baby from the 'Moon Baby' set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and used my Aqua Painter and some Pear Pizzazz ink to lightly color in the baby sleeper.  Next, I stamped the umbrella part of this stamp onto some Pear Pizzazz Designer Series Paper and fussy cut out the umbrella and added it to my Whisper White stamped panel.
Here is how adorable that image turned out.
The sentiment was also from this same set - and I just stamped it onto a Whisper White oval and matted it with a Basic Black scallop oval.
The final touch ....... And probably my favorite part of this card ....... was adding some Sale-a-Bration Metallic Ribbon across the bottom of my card and adding some Gold Sequin Trim to that knot.
A darling little baby card that would look OH SO CUTE in pink....blue or yellow.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a Tag Thursday creation to share with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

3D Tuesday - Project Life Holiday Album

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event is now
ticking down hours.....
Cheryl arrives TOMORROW!!!!!!!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you.  This project was SUPER FUN to create and the product I used was featured in the 2016 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog.  Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
There is a long standing tradition in my family that we gather up all the little kids and adult kids ........ and get together to do our 'Decorate the Gingerbread House Party' in December.
We started this tradition when my grandson Jared was 2-years old.  That is him in the front row of this picture on the left hand side..........He is now 18 years old......and he still wants to be part of this long standing tradition.
So each year ...... We gather up all the treats and nummies we can find and each of the kids make a Gingerbread House.  Here are just some of the treats we used to decorate our houses.
So the admission to this special day is for each of the kids to do a coloring page for NaNa.  I send each of them an invitation along with a different Gingerbread House coloring page each year and they color in that picture and bring it with them to the party.  That colored page is their admission to the fun.  Here is Twoie in the lower right hand corner showing me his coloring page.
So there is no better way to preserve these precious memories than to make each of my kids an album from that day.   This is the 2016 Gingerbread House Party album I made for each of them.
I used the Project Life Holiday Album.......And the easy part was using the Holiday Card Collection packet to insert into each of the Variety Pack Photo Pocket Pages.
I did most of the journaling for each of the kids......
But did leave some blank cards for them to add their favorite memories.
These albums came together so quickly.....
And needless to say......the kids adored receiving their albums.
One other thing we do on this special day is decorate our holiday cookies too.
And along with completing a Gingerbread House.......The kids each decorate 3-4 dozen cookies and get to divide up all the left over treats and take those home too.
Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Mix-It-UP! Monday Shine Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event has reached
SINGLE DIGITS........
2 LITTLE DAYS and counting!!!!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added two additional products (found in the 2016-2017 Stampin UP! Annual Catalog) to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Here is my Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT......
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT.....
Nothing like working with your least favorite color......
And finding out that you rather like the color GREEN!!!!!!
For my upgraded version of this card I kept the sentiment exactly the same as the Spot Light Sunday version ........ And I focused my energy on the squares I created with the 'Stitched Shape Framelits'.
I inserted a Crushed Curry 'Petite Petal' flower into the center of each square.....
And finished the center of each flower with one of the OH SO PRETTY 'Metallic Enamel Shapes'.  For each flower, I added one of the Gold Foil stars that are included in this package of shapes.
I'm kind of crazy about both of these cards......
Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spot Light Sunday - Shine

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event has reached
SINGLE DIGITS........
3 days and counting!!!!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from both the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and the 2017 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog.  This card uses several products from both of those catalogs ........ So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........
I will start out this blog post by letting you in a little secret.....
I'm not a fan of the color green.....
I keep thinking there is something wrong with me.....
Because seriously.....Who doesn't like green????
But for this card......I was able to pull out two of the greens that I like the most and grabbed my 'Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies' and began the process.
I selected Cucumber Crush and Mint Macaron cardstock.  I die-cut the largest square with the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits' and then used two of my retired square punches to create the three little accent squares that fit perfectly next to the large stitched square.
I lined each set up of squares on the left hand side of my Whisper White card front and created a fun little pattern with the three different size squares.
And one final touch was stamping my sentiment from the 'High Tide' set with Cucumber Crush ink and adding Clear Embossing Powder over the top.
I'm just crazy for the way this card turned out.......
And now I want to try it out with one of my favorite Stampin' UP! colors.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Paper Pumpkin February Kit

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event has reached
SINGLE DIGITS........
4 days and counting!!!!
My blog post for today is Paper Pumpkin Saturday ........... And did Stampin' UP! PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS when they created the February Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The theme is birthday ........ and here is what Stampin' UP! had in mind when they designed this kit........
This first sample is a pretty blue version......
I decorated the long skinny envelope to coordinate with that card.
The design eliminate for this card is the little tab at the bottom of the card actually says 'pull' and when you give that tab a pull......the inside of the card pulls out to reveal a fun little birthday message.
For this card I just stamped the HAPPY a whole bunch of times and added the rest of the sentiment below it.
And here is the pink version of that same card.....
I decorated just the back flap for this envelope.
And the same as the blue version.......
The PULL message helps prompt the receiver of this card along.
For this card I stamped my message three different times.....
And with each pull.......the message I put on the inside is revealed.
And for this version.......
I included a gift card at the bottom.
Two fun versions........
And both were SO MUCH FUN to create.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Spot Light Sunday card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
