You Matter Box

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is '3D/CASE IT TUESDAY'.  That means today I have a fun little 3-D project that I found on the internet ....... And I created a CASE of that project to share with you today.  This project was SUPER FUN to create, and I want to jump right in and share that project with you now.
This box was shared by Tessa Wise back in 2009 and she was inspired by LeeAnn Greff.  I put my own spin on this box and will be sharing my version here today.
The front & back body of my box each use a Thick White cardstock piece that measures 8" x 8-1/2".  With the 8-1/2" side at the top of your Simply Score Board.......Score a 2" and 6-1/2".  Then turn your cardstock so the 8" side is at the top of your Simply Score Board and score at 2".
Here is what the back of your box will look like when the front and back body pieces are adhered together.
My lid was decorated with a 'Layering Circle' piece and I cropped out my sentiment (You Matter) from the 'Here for You Dies' and adhered that to my layering circle piece.
The lid for this box is a piece of Thick White cardstock that measures 4-1/2" x 6".  That piece is scored with the 6" side at the top of your Simply Score Board and scored at 2" and 4".  This piece is going to tuck inside your completed box and be adhered to the inside of your box.
I added a magnetic closure to my box.  Those magnets were added to the lid piece and the front body of my box.
I completed 8-cards and coordinating envelopes for this box.
Each card was made with a White base card, and I added a Black cardstock panel and a panel of the 'All Together Designer Series Paper' to the top of that base card.
My sentiment piece for each card was cropped out using the 'Here for You Dies' and that was positioned at the bottom of each card.
The finishing touch for each card was adding two little hearts from the 'Here for You Dies' and finishing each off with some 'Fine Tip Glue' for some added SHINE!
I also added two little hearts to the bottom right corner of my holder ...... And also added one little red heart to my flap over lid piece.
So, there you have it friends.......
Think this might be the single BEST gift I've made.
What do you think????

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
