Tied Up Gate Fold Card

My blog post for today is Wine-Down Wednesday.  My middle of the week card feature for today will hopefully offer you some inspiration and provide you with some motivation to keep you moving through your busy week.  Let's jump right in with my card share for today........

How PRETTY is this birthday card!

I started this card out with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Daffodil Delight base card and added a Soft Suede gate fold section to the top of that base card.  The Soft Suede piece measures 5-1/4" x 8" and is scored at 2" and 6".  My Designer Series Paper panels measure 1-3/4" x 5" and those are adhered to both sides of the Soft Suede panel.  I used the 'Here's For You' set to stamp my birthday sentiment and used Soft Suede ink for that.

My pretty little bird was created with the 'Best Birds' set and 'Birds & Blooms Thinlits'.....

For the closure portion of this card .... I used two 3/4" Circle and some 'Old Olive Baker's Twine.

And opening this card is as easy as unwrapping the Old Olive Baker's Twine.

This is such a fun and happy kind of card .......

And is the perfect card to send to anyone.
