Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you. It's a pretty QUICK and EASY project to create and I made it for the InkBig Design Team. As a member of the InkBig Design Team.......The very generous Lisa Pretto (my upline) told me to pick three Holiday Bunches I wanted and she would send them to me!!!!! I would design 6-projects with each of those bundles and send pictures of those projects to Lisa. I knew this Box of Tags was going to be created when the 'Hang Your Stocking' bundle arrived at my front door. So let me jump right in with how to make this darling Box of Tags.........
All it takes to create this Box of Tag is a 6"x6" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and the Stampin' UP! Envelope Punch Board. For three sides you punch and score at the 2" and 4" mark. Then on the fourth side you PUNCH ONLY at the 2" and 4" mark. You use the corner rounder at the top of the Envelope Punch Board on the 3 punch and scored sides. And for the fourth side you use your paper trimmer to cut off the top section down to the 1st scored section. This will create the top flat section of your box. (See Picture Below)
You will snip up to the first scored section at the bottom two sections of the box (that is the section opposite the flap that you cut off with your trimmer). This will create the two tabs you need to create the bottom of your box. Add Glue Dots to the center flaps and bottom flaps and you will have created the box for the tags to be tucked inside. All that is left to do is create a Belly Band and that's a 3/4" x 9" piece of DSP. Wrap and adhere it to your box and then top it off with some SUPER YUMMY 3/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon.
I created a dozen little tags for the inside of my box (3-each of Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White).
Each tag measures 2" x 4" and I used the Scallop Tag Topper on the top of each tag. I added a piece of DSP that measured 1-1/4" x 2" to the bottom of each tag ...... and then I stamped/embossed (with clear embossing powder) and punched out 12-Real Red Stockings.
So there you have it friends........An ADORABLE little Box of Tags that is just PERFECT to make up as a special little gift for that someone SPECIAL on your Christmas Gift Giving List.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine-Down Wednesday card share with you ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Too stinking cute! TFS.
