June Stamp Camp Part Three

Happy Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today's share will be another A2 card that we made at Stamp Camp in June - and I also want to share the little 3x3 card that I had the gals make.  Let's get started......
This little 3"x3" card was created with the 2-1/2" Circle punch in Early Espresso.  We then used the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle to create a fun scallop layer in Cajun  Craze.
The DSP we used across our 2-3/8" Scallop Circle piece is from the Comfort Cafe DSP packet and we added a small piece of 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Soft Suede.  We added the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die  and layered that little cutie with Baja Breeze and Early Espresso cardstock.  The real charm is the adorable single rhinestone that is cut front and center of the Early Espresso butterfly.  DARLING DARLING CARD.
And the last card share for today was a card that Vicki Fraser from Queensland, Australia posted on our Stampin Connection Demonstrator website.  When I saw this card posted I knew that I was not only going to purchase all the product to make this one happen - but could already see it in my mind with the Comfort Cafe DSP.
We used the Comfort Cafe DSP and the Baja Breeze Seam Binding and 5/8" Crochet Trim Ribbon to create the top portion of our card.........Oh So Pretty!
The Adorning Accents Edgelits Die to cut off the bottom portion of our card and then we came back in and used the Adorning Accents Textured Impression folder to emboss the center section of our card.  We then used the Apothecary Accents Framelits to create our label for the center of our card.  We stamped our "For You" in Baja Breeze on Very Vanilla cardstock using the "Layered Labels" stamp set.  Such a pretty card and LOVE LOVE LOVE how this one turned out.
I have one final card to share with you tomorrow and I just have to admit ....... My favorite of all the June Camp Cards we made.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share......Have a super fabulous day friends.

June Stamp Camp - Part Two

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the first of the four cards that we made at this months Stamp Camp.  My card inspiration came from Diane Vander Galien (who is a SU demonstrator) and I changed it up with some new DSP and two different colors for my Camp Gals.  The first version was done at the daytime session - that was a Baja Breeze version ....... and the nighttime session did a Cherry Cobbler version.  Let's jump right in with today's share.....
Here's a recap of the four cards that the Camp gals made .........
And this is the card we made two different colors.........
First let me share the Cherry Cobbler version.  The DSP we used was from the new Comfort Care DSP.  We used Cherry Cobbler cardstock along with Very Vanilla cardstock.
The heart was die cut from the new Hearts Framelits Dies and the fun little faux buttons were created with the help of the Embosslits Sweet Buttons Die.  We also added some Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and in the upper left hand corner we added three Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack circles and popped those up with a tiny piece of dimensional and added some Crystal Effects to the entire surface of those circles.
The Baja Breeze version was designed the exact same way - and used the same Comfort Cafe DSP.
The one thing we did to both versions of this card was run our Very Vanilla piece through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  We used some Early Espresso Ink on a piece of sponge and distress all the pieces to our card.
Have to say that I love the way this card turned out and packed a LOT OF PUNCH for just a little bit of work.
Off to go play for the entire day today........No plans.....just some serious playing in my studio - and mainly because it's 109degree out there and there's no place that's more comfortable than the chair in my studio.  I'll be back tomorrow to share two more cards that my Camp Gals made ....... Hope you can join me for that share.

June Stamp Camp Part One-Purse

Happy Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will begin sharing my Stamp Camp projects/cards with you - Let's jump right in......
I decided that I would venture into terrority that is not comfortale to me......and decided to make my June Stamp Camp a "Vintage Theme" camp.  We made four cards and also this adorable Labels Collection Framelits Purse.
The purse was made with two of the largest Labels Collection Framelits and a simple box for the inside.  As you can see.....the four vintage cards tucked nicely inside the purse.
The purse insert was made with a Whisper White piece that was cut 6"x6-3/8".  It was scored on the 6" side at 1" and 5-3/8".....And on the 6-3/8" side it was scored at 3-1/2" and 2-1/2".  We merely snipped the center score lines to form the box and adhered it to each of the inside edges of the Label Framelits.
The handle was made with a 11-1/2"x1/2" piece of Whisper White and attached to the box with a couple mini brads.
The front of the purse was decorated with a piece of Twitterpated DSP and the flowers were made using the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die.  We used a bone folder to soften up each of the petals - and then we were able to seperate the petals to create a distressed vintage look for our flowers.  We also added one of the new Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons to the center of our flower for a vintage glass-like look.
We added a fun little tag to our handle ..... We used "Made For You" stamp set and the new Ticket Duo Builder Punch.  This tag was adhered to our handle by using a small piece of Bakers Twine and then dressed up the handle with several layers of ribbon.  We used a small piece of Crochet Trim Ribbon and a couple pieces of the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon in the new Raspberry Ripple In-Color.
Here's a sneak peek of the cards that were tucked inside this purse.....and I'll start sharing those cards with you tomorrow.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.

Gift For Donna

Happy Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I want to share with you the fun little gift I gave to Donna on Sunday.....
Remember this........It's my Mini Magazine Holder that I shared on my blog January 8, 2012.
I used some retired Jersey Shore DSP for my Mini Magazine Holder and tucked four little 3x3 notecards inside the holder.
Here are the two cards that I tucked inside my holder........
Some Jersey Shore DSP and a couple different punches and POW - fast and fun notecards.
Love how both of these notecards turned out!  There is something extra special to me when it comes to making 3x3 notecards.  They are the perfect addition to a gift bag or tucked under someone pillow!
Here's my Mini Magazine Holder with a fun little Chocolate Treat Holder I made for Donna!
I pulled out a retired Stampin' UP! set and stamped 'friend to friend' on the outside and tucked a fun little surprise on the inside......
It just wouldn't be a gift from Kadie if I didn't include a little chocolat to my new friend!
Here's what Donna's Mini Magazine Holder looks like from the back......
And a view of the little 3x3 notecards tucked inside the holder.
I love decorating my Mini Magazine Holders with coordinating ribbon and this retired 5/8" ribbon was just the perfect fit to wrap around my holder.
You can head over to my January 8, 2012 blog post to get Step-by-Step instructions on how to create one of these Mini Magazine Holders for yourself.  Here's the link: http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=1631178639265827936#editor/target=post;postID=4764898214528623822
They go together super fast and you will be surprised at how easy they are to built.

I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing my June Stamp Camp cards with you ......... Hope you can join me for that share.

Card From My New Friend Donna

Happy Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
I have to tell you ...... This last weekend was one of those FABULOUSLY YUMMY WEEKEND that was spent doing some SERIOUS PLAYING and even included a SUPER FUN road trip down to the Tucson Airport area to meet up with a new friend (hi Donna!) that I met through my blog.  Here's the awesome card that Donna had waiting for me when I arrived at the Hilton Gardens Inn on Sunday morning......
I met Donna through my blog - as she is one of my regular blog followers who comes to visit my blog every single day.  She too is a Stampin' UP! demonstrator and I learned first hand on Sunday that she makes some of the most amazing AND beautiful cards!
Donna made me this awesome 4th of July card and had several other card creations spread out on her table and by the looks of things.......she got a whole lot of cards done at her retreat this past weekend.
She added the Tasteful Trim Bigz die along the edge of her card and it added a super fun bordering element to her card.
I think this would have been an amazing card to make for our troops and will be getting permission from Donna to recreate this card for the cards we take over to the VA hospital.

THANK YOU Donna for connecting with me and for showing me around the "Scissors and the City" retreat on Sunday.  Without a doubt....I'm going to work my schedule so I can attend this fun retreat in November ..... AND ..... hopefully bring some friends along with me.

I'll be back tomorrow to share the little gift I made for Donna - And I'm hoping you will be able to come back and join me for that share.

SaddleBrooke Theme Card

Happy Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today's project is the project I shared at our June SaddleBrooke Stampers meeting.  Our theme card challenge was to create our "Favorite Diversion" and the optional technique was to use Fabric.  Here's what I created.......
Without a doubt ......... my favorite diversion is my grandkids and scrapbooking.  I could spend every waking moment either with one of the kids or in my studio scrapbooking.  SO ....... this theme challenge was the perfect opportunity to combine those two FAVORITE things together and come up with a charming little scrapbook about my grandkids.
I decorated the back of my little tag scrapbook with the kids birthday!
Here's a close-up of the front banner of my scrapbook........
And since our optional challenge was to use fabric......My stash of Flirtatious Flawless Fabric was a MUST USE as the fabric flower for the front of my scrapbook.
Here's the two little men in my life.....Jared and Steven.  Even though my tag book was very girlie pink ..... I was able to "man" it up by giving Jared's tag a GreenBay Packer yellow edge and Steven's tag a GreenBay Packer green touch.
Here's my little man Steven .......J ust think he's about the most special thing in the WORLD.....
And my Jared is turning into a very handsome young man (just like his dad).
And here's my two favorite girls.........
Hailey is without a doubt my Girlie Girl Granddaughter.  It's everything pink and purple and she is seriously going to DANCE her way through her teenage years.
And my Brooke is without a doubt ..... My Doll Baby.  She's honestly 8 years old....going on 16!
I love how I was able to add lots of ribbon and tullee to the tops of each of the tags.......
And even though I have lots of pretty pretty pink in this tag scrapbook ..... that doesn't CLASH with the Packer Backers pictures of my two very handsome grandsons.
This tag scrapbook has found the perfect spot on my bookcase to be displayed - and even though my grandkids are growing up SO FAST ....... I will always treasure and remember my grandkids at this age.

Thanks for joining me today......I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing the cards/projects we made at last weeks Stamp Camp with you.  Hope you can return and join me for that share.
