Birthday Wishes Upgrade

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!

Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday.  I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... but added a couple additional products to bring this card up to the next stamping level.

 

Here's my Spot Light Sunday card from yesterday on the TOP.....

And my Mix-It-UP! Monday upgraded card for today on the BOTTOM..... 

 

 How awesome is this upgraded card.......

 

I started out by changing up the sentiment piece of this card and stamping it directly onto my Coastal Cabana panel. 

 

Next, I created a Whisper White "Rectangle Stitched Framelits' frame to be positioned around that stamped sentiment.

 

One of the biggest upgrades I made ....... Was embossing the Coastal Cabana sentiment panel.  I positioned that Coastal Cabana panel in my 'Simply Score Board' and scored it at 1/8", 1/8" and 1/4".  I followed that pattern across the entire Coastal Cabana panel.  I took care in not running my embossing through the stamped sentiment piece.

 

All that was left to do was wrap my 'Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon' across the top of my embossed/stamped sentiment panel.  

So there you have it my friends.......

Must admit......

I'm loving both versions of this card!!!!
