Jack's Count-down To Christmas Gift

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special little post for you.  It's one that I have been doing for Jack over the last couple of years.  It's his count-down to Christmas gift.  This year I didn't make a calendar.....but instead, I made a count-down to Christmas Jar.  Let me share that project with you right now......

Here is the jar of countdown to Christmas treats that I made for Jack.
I decorated the entire outside of the jar with some Season of Style Designer Washi Tape.....
And I made a simple decorative label for the top of my jar!
Once the lid to the jar is removed........Here's what is tucked inside.
I made 25-gift holders for the inside.
Each of the sour cream style gift holders have a date on them......
And I added a special little gift to the inside of each holder.
Here's what the first 6 holders looks like......
And a sampling of the gifts that I added inside the holders.
This just happens to be one of Jack's FAVORITES!
I also created a storage box for Jack to store his opened gift holders.  I simply decorated one of the large SU boxes and it the perfect size to hold all 25 of Jack's gift holders.
After Jack has opened his gift up for that particular day.....He can tuck them inside this box and it makes for a cute holiday decoration next to his chair in the living room.
So there you have it friends......Jack's Countdown to Christmas gift for 2013.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun little Christmas Eve project that I made for my grandkids............Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  1. What a cute idea. Men seem to be ignored in all the prep for Christmas unless they are required to hang outdoor decorations! I bet he loves this. Maybe you could share the pork chop dinner receipe? That could be your sour cream container gift to us!

I'm glad my Randy just made us pork chops on the grill or I'd be craving them now, YUM! =) Thanks so much for sharing with us! Adorable!
