Special Mother's Day Project

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Normally on Sunday's I share a Spotlight Sunday project with you ....... But today, in honor of Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Day Ladies) .......... I want to share the Mother's Day mailbox gift I made for 16 of my special friends and neighbors here in SaddleBrooke.
These little Purse Post-it-Note Holders are the perfect size for my friends to drop into their purse and have ready for when they need to jot a quick note.
I created each of them with a purse shape that I cut out.....
Attached a layer of doilies and printed sentiment on the top....
And since I positioned my purse pattern so it was cut out on the fold of the cardstock ...... I was able to have it flip open and I tucked a pack of 3x3 post-it-notes on the inside.
Here is the template I created for my purse shape.....
And I even made one special one for myself.
How ADORABLE is this......
And this is how I attached the ribbon handles to the back of my purse.
While I was creating these special Mother's Day gifts ....... I wanted to make five special ones for my friends at our local Basha's Grocery Store.  Pretty sure they will like this special little gift.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share a very special Mother's Day card and gift that I sent to my two daughters in Wisconsin.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share tomorrow.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  1. Those are way too cute! I'm going too have to look for a pattern for the purse as my drawing sucks!
