Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you. This project was designed for a blog hop I was going to participate in and then I changed my mind and designed a different tag holder for that post. This tag holder was SUPER FUN to create and I've done my best to post measurement and pictures to help you recreate this project on your own. Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
This fun little tag holder was made with some of the now retired Stampin' UP! Sale-a-Bration items .......... But you could honestly use any product you might happen to have in your stash.
I started out with a 6-1/4" x 6-1/4" piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock. I scored one side at 1-1/2 and 1-3/4". I then turned my cardstock 90 degrees and scored the second side at 1/4", 1/2", 3-1/4" and 3-1/2"
Next, I used my paper snips and did some cutting. This is how my piece looked when I cut away the two side panels and at 3-3/4" on the left hand bottom side (I cut up to the first score line).
So when I cut all the sections away from my Sweet Sugarplum cardstock, this is what I was left with.
I added Tear n' Tape to the two outer tabs and then worked at folding my panel in so I could create the pocket I would be using to insert my 3-tags.
Here is a close-up of what the left hand side will look like.
And this is what the right hand side will look like.
And this is what the inside of your holder will look when you get your pocket completed.
For the inside pocket, I added a 1" x 2-3/4" piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock across the center and called it done.
These are the three tags I created for the inside of my holder.
Each one uses the 'Make a Medallion' free Sale-a-Bration stamp set. And I also used the Sale-a-Bration Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper and Sale-a-Bration 3/8" Metallic Ribbon.
Here's what the Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper looked like when I adhered a 2" panel down the center of my tag.
This Sweet Sugarplum tag spot lights the beautiful Silver Embossing that was done to the 'Make a Medallion' stamp.
I stamped the medallion image and then heat set it and added a pretty thanks banner across the center. One additional product I added to each banner was two Enamel Shapes.
The Blushing Bride tag spot-lights the ribbon embellishment I put at the top of each tag.
I attached some of the Silver 3/8" Metallic Ribbon and then strung both the Blushing Bride and Silver Sequin Trim from the ribbon.
Here is what the three tags look like when they are tucked inside my holder.
A pretty easy holder to create........
So don't let all the instructions scare you away!!!!!
Darling idea and amazing engineering!
