Saddle-UP! Reply

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a darling little card I received from my good friend Ann.  She was registering for my upcoming Saddle-UP! event on October 18th........And she used her Western dies to create this cute message for me.
I have typed in "BOLD" the words for each of her die-cuts.........
It reads......Kadie, "Hat's" off to you!  You always "Speer" me on........
to make "bootiful" cards.
You always "Trigger" my imagination.  I feel so "Lucky" to be able to attend your Saddle-UP! Event.
Now how cute is that!   Without a doubt........Ann hit her registration for my Saddlle-UP! Event out of the park.  Thanks Ann for making this extra special card for me.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a card I received from my upline Lisa Pretto .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Here's a fun little 3x3 card that I made.
I stamped the "Hooray" sentiment three times.  I used Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Real Red ink for each of my three "Hooray" sentiments.
I used Crumb Cake cardstock for my base card and used the Woodgrain stamp (with Crumb Cake ink) over the front of my base card.
Just love how this 3x3 notecard turned out.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share another Yee-Haw card with you .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Sheriff's Pouch

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
How about another fun project using the new Yee-Haw stamp set from Stampin' UP!  Today I have a special little burlap bag project to share with you.  Check this little cutie out........
I used one of the Stampin' UP! Burlap Bags to act as the base for my super darling Sheriff tag.
I stamped the Sheriff badge image onto Whisper White cardstock.....Using Tempting Turquoise ink.  I then grabbed my new Blendabilities and started coloring in the badge.
I stamped the Woodgrain background stamp onto some Crumb Cake cardstock and then set out to create a simple banner flag.  I used Clear Embossing Powder to bring a real WOW FACTOR look to my banner flag.
I fussy-cut out my Sheriff badge and added it to a 1-3/4" Early Espresso circle......and added some Linen Thread around the embossed banner flag to form a fun little lasso.
I used one of the new Stampin' UP! natural clothespins to attach my banner flag to the side of my muslin bag.
Just love how this project turned out.........And can see making some more of these for my upcoming Saddle-UP! event in October.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share one more Yee-Haw card with you .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Howdy Partner

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!

Today's card is another card made with the new Yee-Haw stamp set.  How fun is this set!  It has sooo many possibilities that I just can't stop making cards and projects with it.  Here's another card sample that the Stampin' UP! Home Office shared with us.
It starts with a base card of Pear Pizzazz.  I then inked up the circle star stamp with Pear Pizzazz ink and stamp that image all over the front of my base card.
I stamped the "Howdy" sentiment with Tempting Turquoise ink.....onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I then stamped the rope image and used my paper snips to fussie-cut out the rope and added it to the top of my Whisper White panel.   Check out the super fun cowboy hat I stamped........and the rope I added around the cowboy hat.
Here's a close-up of the circle star images that covered my entire base card.
This was one of those fun cards that came together in a snap.......and I can't wait to try out other color combinations for this card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another Yee-Haw project with you .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Yee-Haw Partner!

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!!
Today I'm playing catch-up for all the time I spent PLAYING this past weekend.  I'm going to jump right in with a fun little card I made with the new Yee Haw stamp set.  Check out this cute card.........
This is a card that the home office designed and shared on their SU website.  It uses the new Yee-Haw set.  I ADORE THIS SET ....... and couldn't wait to get my hands on this set and create this card.
The circle for this card are made using the new Dots and Stripes Decorative Masks.  All I had to do was grab my Hello Honey Stampin' Write Marker and trace the circle images.....and then while the mask was still on my card.......I drew lines across each circle (in both directions).
One of the fun little embellishments on this card is thee Essentials Wooden Element.  I added the arrow image and then added a stamped pin-wheel over the top of the arrow.
I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock and stamp my "Yee-Haw" sentiment and embossed it with Whisper White embossing powder.  I added a clipped flag at the end of my Pumpkin Pie piece for a little FUN FACTOR!
All that was left for me to do was stamp the rope image and then fussy-cut my image out and adhere it to my card.  SERIOUSLY FUN AND HAPPY CARD!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another card I made using the Yee-Haw set .......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Stacked Birthday Cake

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the quickest and the easiest birthday card known to man.  It's one that came together as a result of having an overwhelming stash of scrap designer series paper.  Not knowing what to do with this stash of DSP........(Lordy knows you can't throw out designer series paper).......I came up with this great solution.
Here's the one-of-a-kind birthday card I made.
I cut three different sizes of rectangles.......And I used three different patterns of designer series paper.
I stacked each of the rectangles on top of each other.......And then added some icing between each of the layers.  The icing was created by using my dotted scallop punch and trimming down a piece to fit across the top of each rectangle cake piece.  The end results........INSTANT ICING was formed.
I added three little candles to the top of my cake and this card is DONE!

This is a fun a creative way to use up your scrap pieces of designer series paper ....... And an excellent way of making a one-of-a-kind birthday card.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you some cards I've been working on ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

French Fry Box

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the Early Bird Door Prize for my August Stamp Camp to share with you.  The ladies who attend my monthly stamp camps......and come early or on-time......receive a special door prize ticket.  This month, my stamp camp theme was Birthday/Celebration......and one of my granddaughters favorite ways to celebrate her birthday is with a box of french fries.  It just wouldn't be a birthday without an extra large order of french fries.  SO.......to go along with the theme of my August Stamp Camp (Birthday/Celebration).....I made this adorable box of french fries for my Early Bird Door Prize.
This idea came from a sweet demonstrator that I met in the lobby of the hotel on my last day in Salt Lake City.  She came up to me and handed me her version of this darling french fry box and SMILED!  I knew immediately this fabulous creation was going to be CASE'd.
I altered the sentiment with my rotary stamp.......
And made the yummy french fries with Whisper White cardstock (that was run through my Crimper) and then ink with some Hello Honey ink.  Just love love love how these french fries turned out.
Here's a closer look at those french fries.  I inserted some cello candy that fit perfectly inside each of the french frie.
The actual holder is from our new French Fry die........
And all I needed to do was grab a large cello bag and wrap my completed french fry box up with some Tangelo Twist ribbon.
The winner of my August Early Bird Prize was Jan.  This was her first camp and I'm pretty sure she thought she had won the lottery.  Congrats Jan for being my lucky August Early Bird Door Prize Winner.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a quick and easy stacked birthday cake card ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
