Witches Broom Gift Tags

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
I know I said yesterday that I was done posting my final "MISS YOU" pictures of my favorite little people back in Wisconsin.........BUT.....yesterday I received Twoie's first month pictures and I just had to share them here today.

I received an AMAZING IDEA from my good friend Kathie who shared a site that you could buy personalized onesie stickers for your babies first 12 month.  (THANK YOU Kathie for sharing the Etsy site with me!)  Well ..... I jumped to get Twoie's onesie stickers ordered and was able to give them to my daughter while we were back in Wisconsin last month.  The plan is to create a First Year Album for Twoie......with him wearing his "Twoie is __ month old" personalized onesie stickers.  I asked my daughter to take three pictures each month.......(one with just Twoie ...... one with his big sister Brooke and one with Chow).  These are the pictures I received for Twoie's first month.
Here's Brooke with Twoie!

And probably my FAVORITE picture is of Twoie with his puppy Chow.  When Twoie was born, we took up to the hospital this cute little stuffed animal and it reminded me SO MUCH of that yummy treat "puppy chow".  The puppy was soon named "CHOW" and I knew that I would want a picture of Twoie with his Chow every month for his album.  This picture has to be just about the most PRECIOUS gift I could have received!

So.....now on with my Halloween share for today.  Today's post is all about creating a fun little Halloween Witches Broom Gift Bag.
These fun little Witches Broom Gift Bags start out with a TOTALLY FUN Halloween Gift Tag.......

Here's a close-up look at the tag I created.
I used the Bootiful Occasions stamp set and some retired SU DSP.....
And I created each tag just a little differently!
The real fun was coloring in the witches boot to match the DSP I was using!
The actual witches broom was a SU Cello Bag with a Pretzel Rod tucked inside it.
I then added the pretzel rod to the inside of a lunch bag that I fringed to resemble the broom and then tied the bag up with linen thread and added my Happy Halloween tag.
The entire project turned out sooooo stinkin cute!  The inside of the lunch bag held a bagful of popcorn.....which allowed the broom to stand upright when placed on the counter.

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share more fun creations with you ....... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  1. Oh for cryin' out loud! How adorable is Twoie with Chow. It looks like he's just hanging out with his best friend; leaning back on his elbow. How CUTE!!!!

I just love that Witch's Broom. What a fabulous idea. I think this would be a great gift for my cousins who are coming to stamp again on the 15th. I did stamp all my Halloween images for my stick tree and I am just going to sit down and punch them out. I'm so excited to get it finished and a couple other goodies before they get here. Yay! I can't believe that I'm really doing this! Thanks so much for all your help!!! Happy Weekend!
