SBS August 3x3 cards

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!

Today I want to share the cards that my fellow SaddleBrooke Stampers made for our August 3x3 card share.  Our theme for August was birthdays and I knew from the minute I heard the August theme, that I would want to create something special for my card swap.  I created a little awning card.....and will share that card with you today.
Here are the three cards that were made for August........
This first card was made by my good friend Kris.  Talk about doing some fussy cutting......Kris knocked this one out of the party.  LOVE that she stamped several of the images and cut them out.  It was after she had them colored in that Kris added some dimensional adhesive to pop the images up off her card.
LOVE the added extra touch of the Crystal Effects to each of the images she colored in ......... giving those images a real WOW FACTOR!
And I created this adorable little awning card.
The awing was created using the Word Window punch with both Pretty in Pink and Whisper White cardstock.
I used a retired Stampin' UP! set.  The stamped images were colored in with SU Markers and then some Crystal Effects was added to the frosting and toppings of each of the cakes.
So there you have it friends.......A super fun little birthday creation!
And this fun little birthday card was not stamped with a name on the back of it.  I have no idea which of my fellow SaddleBrooke Stampers made this card........but I think they did a fabulous job and I will be using it as a gift tag on an upcoming birthday bag.

Thanks for joining me today.  Jack and I are traveling back to Arizona today........we had SO MUCH FUN on our Stampin' UP! Get Away Vacation in San Diego.  I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing some more great Halloween cards and projects with you.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
