Opal's 3-D CrafterNooners Project

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special post that was designed by my good Stampin Buddy Opal.  She is in my CrafterNooner's group (Berta, Opal, Jan and myself)......and while the other girls were gone this summer, Opal and I continued to meet and we each brought a fun project for each other to work on.  Friday we met and Opal created this SUPER DUPER FUN Holiday Tag Holder.......
We started out with a 8-1/2"x10-3/4" piece of Gumball Green Cardstock.  We scored our cardstock on the short side at 1-1/4" and 7-1/4".  On the 10-3/4" side we scored at 1/2", 3-1/2", 4", 7", 7-1/2" and at 10-1/2".
Opal had these 3-D Holly Stickers that we added to our sentiment frame and I added Crystal Effects to the top of mine to give them a super shiny glossy look.
Our sentiment was stamped from the TPC Studio Christmas Invites stamp set onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Opal also showed me how to add a 1" circle punch to the backside of the Apothecary Accents Framelits die to create a PERFECT framed mat to one of the labels diecuts.
The belly band was a Gumball Green piece of cardstock that measured 2-1/2" x 7-15/16".  We scored on the long side at 1-1/4" and 4-7/8".  We then turned our project 180 degree (and on the opposite side of where we just scored)......we scored at 3-5/8" and 7-1/4".  All that was left to do was add some sticky tape and join our two ends together.

To decorate the six pockets on the inside of our tag holder we cut some retired Stampin' UP! DSP into 1-1/4"x3" pieces and glued one to each of the inside panels of our holder.
Here is what the holder looks like with all 12-Gift Tags tucked inside the six pockets of our holder.
Each tag started with a 2-1/2" Scallop Circle that was either Cherry Cobbler or Gumball Green.  Our Christmas images were stamped onto a piece of 2" Very Vanilla circles and topped off with a matching piece of 1/2" Dotted Scallop Ribbon.
Each of the stamped images were prettied up with either Crystal Effects or some colored Puffy Paint - and that added that little something something my tags were needing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE how this project turned out and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be making more of these for my Wisconsin Scrapbooking friends for when I go back to Wisconsin in November.
I stamped a "To" and "From" message on the back of each tag - and this little holder is now OFFICIALLY READY to be given away.
This project just couldn't have been any cutier.......and a special little note to Opal......THANK YOU OPAL FOR SHOWING ME HOW TO CREATE THIS CUTE TAG HOLDER........I LOVE IT!

I'll be back tomorrow to share some Halloween projects I've been making.....Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Special 3-D CrafterNooners Project

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special CrafterNooners Project to share with you.  Over the summer months.........all but two of our CrafterNooner Gals are gone and it's just Opal and me left here in SaddleBrooke for the summer.  We thought it would be fun to met at Opal's Studio on Friday and each bring a fun 3-D project to work on.   Here's the project that I had us make yesterday............
My portfolio started with a 9-3/4"x7-1/2" piece of Melon Mambo cardstock
I scored on the 9-3/4" side at 9-1/2, 9-1/4, 5-1/4, 4-1/2, 1/2 and 1/4 inches
On the 7-1/2" side I scored at 5-1/2 and 5-1/4 inches.
I stamped several Mixed Bunches flowers with Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink on Whisper White - and punched the images out with the Blossom Punch.

My belly band was created by wrapping a strip of Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Melon Mambo around my portfolio and securing closed with tape and adding a stamped Mix Bunch flower to the center of my belly band.
Inside my portfolio I added six notecards that measured 4-3/4" x 7" (scored at 3-1/2").
Each notecards had a Mixed Bunch flower with several circle layers added to the center.......
And I added a coordinating "thank you" sentiment to each of my notecards.....
The notecard mat measured 3-1/4"x4-1/2" and those pieces were run through the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.
 Here's the Melon Mambo notecard.......
And the Pretty in Pink notecard.......
A couple 3-D leafs were added behind my Mixed Buch flower and a small Pretty in Pink Bow was added to the top of the Mixed Bunch flower I adhered to the front of my portfolio.

LOVE LOVE LOVE how quick and easy this portfolio came together - and will probably make more of these for some of my SaddleBrooke Girlfriends for their birthday.

Thanks for joining me today.......Tomorrow, I have the 3-D project that Opal had me create.
I PROMISE YOU......You will not want to miss my Sunday post.

September 3x3 Cards Part Two

Happy Happy Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Well Friends......WE DID IT......Another week CHECKED OFF and it's FULL SPEED ahead for a GLORIOUS WEEKEND!  Hope you get out there and ENJOY this glorious weekend and have some SUPER DUPER FUN PLANS.
My card share today is part two of the SaddleBrooke Stampers 3x3 cards for our September meeting. Here's part two of the cards the ladies created......
This first card share today was created by my staming friend Jessica.  She ALWAYS creates the funniest 3x3 cards ..... and without a doubt ...... Almost always decorate the inside of her card.
Here's the inside of her card!  Jessica met the stampers challenge of "worth repeating.
This fun little number got in this post because Debbie had missed her last stampers 3x3 challenge and was playing some catch up. This is Debbie's precious little card from last month.
I'm not sure who created this fun little card.......because the back of the card was not signed.  So....If your part of my SBS Group and made this adorable little card......Leave me a message.
This card was made by my stamping buddy Marie - Love how she repeated her bithday message across the front of her card.  PERFECT little 3x3 card.
And my last card share for today is the card that Jude made.  GORGEOUS OR WHAT?
And here is the inside of Jude's card.  LOVE LOVE LOVE the cupcake that Jude created with the SU Cupcake punch.  Such a perfect addition to the inside of this already adorable 3x3 card.

Next month our 3x3 challenge is Spooky and Wickely Cool.  I have already created my prototype card and have all the pieces cut out and just need to assemble the 9-cards we need for our October 3x3 challenge.

I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creation - Hope you can come back and join me for my share.......Keep Living Your Dream!

September SBS Challenge Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing the Challenge Card that I made for my SaddleBrooke Stampers Meeting in September.  Each month......my good friend Ann puts together monthly challenge packets for our SaddleBrooke Stamping Group.  For September she gave us a small notecard along with some vanilla ribbon and we were told to go create - here's what I created.......
I created a square 6x6 butterfly card.......
I cut down the notecard that Ann included in our challenge packet and created a panel that I adhered right across the center of my 6x6 card.  I then created a coordinating banner that was adhered right over my notecard panel.
I then got busy creating my scallop sentiment - which was stamped with some purple ink and adhered to the lower right hand corner of my card.
I stamped a trio of butterflies and secured a rhinestone brad to the center of each butterfly and popped that right over my purple banner piece.
I added the vanilla ribbon to the top portion of my center banner and embossed that banner with the Lots of Dots embossing folder for some added texture to this card.
I created a fun scallop sentiment for the inside of my card and added a left over piece of the notecard to the inside bottom portion of my card.
I even decorated the outside envelope of my card!
I'm planning to send this card to a very special friend who honestly ........  can use some SERIOUS CHEERING UP!

Thanks for joining me today - I'm back tomorrow to begin sharing the little 3x3 cards that my fellow SaddleBrooke Stampers shared with me in September.  Keep Living Your Dream!

September SBS Theme Card

Happy Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the Theme Card that I made for my SaddleBrooke Stampers Meeting in September.  Our theme was "Wonderful Girl Friends" and our optional technique was "Frilly". Here's what I created.....
I started out with a Pretty in Pink base card and ran a Pink Pirouette frame piece through the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder with the help of my Big Shot.
I added a BFF oval sentiment to the upper left hand corner of my card and added a layer of Crystal Effects to the BFF circle and that blinged it up real pretty.
I created a small First Edition DSP frame right below my BFF sentiment and wrapped a piece of Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon around the DSP Frame and slipped a tiny piece Pretty in Pink 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon behind my bow.
My "FRILLY" was a combination of a the scallop circle from the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die and several layers of Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink scallop circles.  I sprayed the scallop circles with water and then crumbled them up and adhered a Antique Brad to the center.
Behind all the scallop pieces I added some white and pink tullee......
And also added several different pink ribbons to the bottom portion of my scalloped flower.
LOVE LOVE LOVE how this card turned out......It SERIOUSLY met the theme challenge of being FRILLY.  However......I think this is one of those cards that I'm going to have to put into someone's hands - as there is SO MUCH DIMENSION to this card I'm thinking it might not fit into an envelope!
To finish off my card.....I added a fun "Best Friends" sentiment to the inside of my card.

Thanks for joining me today - I'll be back tomorrow to share my SaddleBrooke Stampers Challenge Card with you ...... Hope you can come back and join me for that share.
