Kards To Kadie

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!  Today I will be sharing my Kards to Kadie section with you and I have several AMAZING cards and projects to share with you.  Let's JUMP right in .......

First up is a fabulous creation from Brenda Benette who is a follower of my blog.  She emailed me a picture of the Mini Magazine Holder project that she made ...... and I asked her if I could share her creation with you'all.  Check out this ADORABLE Mini Magazine Holder that Brenda made ........
My original project  was poste on January 12, 2012 and Brenda followed my direction PERFECTLY and created this AWESOME little Mini Magazine Holder.  Fabulous color combination Brenda and your DSP is perfect for this project.  NICE JOB Brenda and MANY THANKS for sending me a picture of your completed project.  LOVE IT!
My next card share is from Lisa Pretto from Madison, Wisconsin.  She sent me this pretty pretty card to congratulate me on my January Stampin' UP! Sales.
I love this card so much ...... That I'm pretty sure we will be making this card at my March Stamp Camp.  Thank You Lisa for recognizing my sales achievement for the month of January.
Next up is a special surprise card I received from my SW Stamper friend Kathy Huss.  I attended the SU Regional Meeting with Kathy and several other SW Stamper Demos and Kathy sent a SUPER FUN newsletter that did a recap of our amazing day at Regionals.
Kathy's card has so much dimension and the pure beauty of her card just does not show up on the pictures that I took of her card.
Thank You Kathy for your beautiful card and the special little something something you tucked inside your card.
And the last card I want to share with you today is a BEAUTIFUL little 3x3 card that my good friend Kris Holmes made for me.  I had qualified for several SAB sets and I knew Kris did not have the  Elementary Elegance Stamp Set and I surprised her and gave her that Sale-a-Bration stamp set.
Needless to say......Kris was thrilled and made me this fabulously cute and elegant card.  Many Thanks Kris for making this wonderful Pink Card - I LOVE IT!

Many thanks for joining me today ..... I'll be back tomorrow to share a fabulous gift that my Stampin Buddy Jude made me ...... Trust me ...... It will be well worth returning to see what she made me - OH SO BEAUTIFUL!

FU Cards for February Part Two

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends and THANKS for joining me today.  I have the other two cards that we made at our FU group gathering to share with you today ...... Let's jump right in .......
First up today is the card that Ann had us make.  The WOW FACTOR on Ann's card comes from the gray block that is in the center of our card.  Ann had us use a stamping block and ink up the block and then stamp that directly onto the center of our white card stock and the serious fun on doing this is how uneven the block image stamps.  WOW.....each of us did this technique and all three of our cards looked different.  LOVE IT!
We then stamped the most amazing bird image directly onto our gray stamped block image and the contrast of the gray along with the red just gave our card that look of elegants that goes along with Red and Black cards.
We also added a couple brads to our card ..... and MY BAD ...... they were suppose to go on the upper portion of our card ....... and I ended up placing mine at the bottom of my card.  I love how this card turned out and can't wait to try this technique with my own stamp blocks and ink.
And my last FU share is an amazing project that Kris had us make.  OH MY GOSH.....what an amazing project this was - and couldn't believe how fast this project came together.  I already have a list of people I want to make this project for..........
Kris had us make a folio that when you untied it ........
Opened up to reveal four darlin notecards and envelopes.
It was super easy to create and can only image what a thrill it would be to be on the receiving end of this gift.  There is something amazing that happens when you put Black and White together and then when you add red to it.......Awesome Things Happen with this color combination.  Great Gift Kris!

Many Thanks to my FU Group Ladies......Your projects were amazing this past month and look forward to our March gathering ....... You are each super talented and I am blessed to be part of this amazing and fun group.

I'll be back tomorrow to share some pictures from our Spring Fling this past weekend.  Keep Living Your Dream!

FU Projects for February

Happy Happy Monday My Blogger Friends and today I have the projects my FU (Fabulously Unique) ladies made for February.  I have to say that if ever there is a group of ladies that gets together and has some SERIOUS FUN ...... It would honestly be this group of ladies.  Somehow the time I spend with Kris ..... Debbie ..... and Ann is PRICELESS.  Each of these ladies is SO TALENTED and has the ability to turn a simple piece of cardstock into a fabulously unique creation......Therefore the validation that they should be called the FU Ladies!  Check out these projects for February .......
First ups is my project.  I learned how to do this project at my Stampin' UP! Regional convention a couple weeks ago up in Phoenix.  I made several changes to the original card that we made at regional - but the style and overall look of my card for my FU Group is the same.
We used the 1-3/8" Circle Punch (Calypso Coral) and layered a 1-1/4" Circle in Whisper White for my sentiment.
Our flower came together with the help of two different punches.  We used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch to create our base flower (in Calypso Coral)  We next punched out four small heart punches and arranged those around the Calypso Coral base to create a super fun little daisy type flower for the front of our card.  The nice thing about this card is you can make up a bunch and hold up adding the stamped sentiment until it's needed.  So that makes this a perfect card to make up a bunch and have them on hand for those last minute cards we are always needing.
My next card to share today is Debbie's SUPER FUN Birthday card.  OH MY GOSH - this card is sooooo stinkin cute!  Debbie used the new Cupcake Builder Punch and Create a Cupcake stamp set to create three cupcakes that jump right off the card.
We used dimensionals behind both the cupcake holder and the frosting part of our cupcakes.  We also added some stickles to the cake part of of cupcakes to add that little sparkle that all cupcakes should have.
The cherry on top was made with the new Red Glimmer paper and added a perfect burst of color to the top of our yummy cupcakes.

I'll be back tomorrow to share Kris and Ann's cards with you ....... Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spring Fling Swap Part Two

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends - HOLY BUCKETS ...... Did we have FUN at the Spring Fling yesterday or what!  We made some AMAZING PROJECTS - PLAYED all day long with stamps and ink (what could be better?) - and did some serious LAUGHING with 12 of the most amazing ladies you could ever want to know in Arizona!  Needless to say ........ We had a blast at Di Gibbs Spring Fling Event.
Here are my second swap cards just waiting to leave SaddleBrooke and head up to the Mesa area for the Spring Fling Event.  I made four versions of this card for the swap ...... Let me share those with you now.......
I wanted to make 50 of this card to swap - and knew right out of the gates that doing 50 of the same color combination would not hold my interest for long - so I created four different color combinations  and think they all turned out GREAT!
The first color combination I made was Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo.
I used the new Mixed Bunch stamp and Blossom punch and created two layers for my flower.  I also used the Tasteful Trim BigZ Die for my zigzag trim at the bottom of my card and ran my Whisper White frame through my Big Shot and created a Perfect Polka Dots embossed background that was perfect for this card.  The center of each of my flowers I added a 3/4" circle punch and spread Crystal Effects across the entire circle to create the shiniest center to each of my flowers.  PERFECT little touch that added no extra time to assembling my cards ...... Except the time it took to dry the Crystal Effects!
This is the Rose Red and Regal Rose color combination.
Don't you just love love love how fabulous the flower turned out on this card!  I added the sentiment from the Field Flowers stamp set and matted it with a couple oval punches and called this one DONE!
Here's the Pacific Point and Bashful Blue color combination .....
 Seriously BEAUTIFUL!
And the Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze color combination ........
Very Rich and Regal looking .......
Love how all four versions of this card turned out - and I'm hoping that this punch and stamp set makes it into our new catalog in July.

Thanks for joining me today - I'll be back tomorrow to share my FU Group cards for February - The ladies did some amazing projects this month and know you won't want to miss any of those.  Hope to see you tomorrow.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Spring Fling Swap Part One

Happy Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends.....I'm off to the Mesa area today to attend Di Gibb's Spring Fling Event.  YAHOOOOOO ...... ROAD TRIP!  I'm planning to have a dozen of my good SaddleBrooke Friends (love you ladies) join me today for this event.  We are leaving at the ButtCrack of dawn this morning to head up to Mesa and plan to fill two party vans with 12-wild and crazy Stamping Ladies.  What I want to share with you today are the cards I made for the Spring Fling Card Swap ...... I made several cards to swap and here they are .......
This is what it looks like when you DON'T SLEEP!
I fixed up 50 of these little sweeties for my first swap card at Spring Fling!  Of course my style changes with however long I'm working on a project - so with that comes three different color combination of this cute card.
First up is the So Saffron and Regal Rose color combination.  I used the Up in the Air Hostess Stamp Set from Stampin' UP! and even took the time to add Crystal Effects to each of the flowers for that little shiny something something for each card.
I also used the Framelits Labels Die for each of my card mats and with the help of the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die and the Color Spritzer Tool (BIG  THANKS TO KRIS FOR LETTING ME BORROW HER Spritzer!) I was able to create some softness and dimension to this otherwise plain and simple card.
Here's my Not Quite Nay and Rose Red color combination .......
I think the Crystal Effects turned up best on this card version.
And the last color combination I made was the Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie
I simply love how fabulous this version turned out - and I'm thinking that if I don't swap all these cards out .... they are going to make a wonderful "so sweet ...... of you to think of me" type card for my friends!  Seems like lately more and more of my friends are "DOING" something for me and this would be the perfect little 'thanks' card to send out.
And I'll leave you today with a sneak peek of the other swap card I made for Di Gibbs Spring Fling  Event.  When I say I don't sleep ...... trust me ....... I really don't sleep.  (and I wonder why I'm walking around with a migraine that I can't get under control!)

I'll be back tomorrow to share the second swap card that I made for the Spring Fling Event - Hope you can come back and join me for that.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Gails Workshop

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!  Today I have two cards to share with you that we made at Gail's Workshop last week - Let's JUMP right in ........
This workshop was for mostly new stampers and I wanted to create a card that was not only going to put the ladies at ease.....but also be something that they could give to that favorite man in their life.  This card was a CASE card from our Stampin' UP! Demonstrators website and came together in a snap for the ladies.
We used punched out 1" circles from the Well Worn DSP Collection and strung them like a banner across the top portion of our card with the help of some Linen Thread.
The detail to this card came from the Cajun Craze Banner we tucked behind our Happy Birthday Banner frame and centered all those pieces on a frame of Soft Suede.  Super great card to mass produce for all the male's on your birthday list.
The super nice thing about the Well Worn DSP collection is all the earth tone colors (Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand) that just scream to be used on this collection ....... so all those SU colors that I rarely use were perfect for this card.
The second card we made was the complete opposite style card .......... and it was this pretty pretty delicate and sweet little card for all the females on your birthday gift giving list.
We used ther new Large Sizzlits Paper Doily Die for our Chocolate Chip Frame and a 2-3/4" circle will host any flower stamp set that you have in your collection.
I love all the intricate design that our new Paper Doily die creates and this die makes the perfect delicate background for any card.
Thanks for joining me today - Tomorrow I have a super fun gift to share with you.  It's a little something that my good friend Debbie gave to me a couple weeks ago.  It's an amazing gift and generous gift and I hope you can come back and see what my very good friend gave me.
