Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends
My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you. This project is SUPER FUN to create and the product is featured in both the 2018 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog and 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' UP! Catalog. Let's jump right in with my project share for today.......
These gift card purses were spot-lighted on Buckeye Inklings UTube Channel back in February (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwiU15zSP6I) ....... And I have to say that the minute I saw what Chris had created ........ I just knew I had to give this project a try. And let me tell you friends ....... these are SUPER EASY to create and even more so with the AMAZING video that Chris created.
My purse was created with the 'Petal Passion Designer Series Paper'. You start out with a 2-7/8" x 7-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper ..... And score at 3-3/4". A Basic Black 'Stitched Shape Framelits' circle was scored in half and then adhered to the top of my Designer Series Paper.
And check out all the space that is inside each purse.
The insert is created using one of the new 'Narrow Note Card Envelopes'. You cut the envelope at 2-3/8" and that gives you the two slots for the inside of your purse. All you need to do is attach the two envelopes together at the center and then attach both sides of your envelopes to the front and back of the Designer Series Paper piece.
Here is the tiny note card I created to go inside one of the envelope flaps.....And the other flap holds a gift card.
For my closure I used a mini Velcro closure.......
And punched out a 1-3/8" Scallop Circle and stamped my "For You" sentiment from the 'Cake Soiree' set.
My second gift card purse was created the same way.......
But for this one I used the 'Birthday Delivery' set to stamp my birthday message right on the circle flap.
I added a birthday gift card in the front envelope flap.....
And created this tiny card for the second flap.
So there you have it friends......
A simply darling little packaging idea for giving a gift card.
Many THANKS to Chris Slogar for sharing her creation.
Very stylish and I love the little pocket for a gift card!
