Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving - 20 days to go!
Today's share is part two of the cards that we made at Stamp Camp this past Wednesday. Here's a recap of the five cards/projects we made at our May Camp...........
I picked a Flower Theme for our May Camp and I wanted the ladies to create four special flower cards and a 3D special little gift box for our projects in May. The idea was to have the four flower cards we created tuck right inside the special little gift box ...... making this a special camp for all the ladies who attended.
My first card share today is this pretty little "thank you" card that was created with two of my favorite In-Colors (Island Indigo and Pool Party).
We used the new Framelits Label Dies for our frame and added a scallop punch layer and a stamped "Flower Fest" image in Island Indigo (which was punched out with the 5-Petal Punch) to create this fun and playful focal image for the front of our card.
Our next card was created with the help of a background piece of our new Summer Smooches DSP and adding a Top Note die image to the center of our card. We then started adding several of the flowers from the Island Floral Bigz Die and created this FUN and SASSY floral image to the center of our card.
We ran our floral images through the Perfect Poka Dots Impressions Embossing Folder to create some extra texture to our floral pieces and topped it all off with a stamped image from the "Button Buddies" stamp set in Pool Party and added a fun button to the top of our layered flower.
And our last card share for today is MY FAVORITE.......it's a Z-Fold Card that is SUPER PRETTY and came together in a snap. We started with a Whisper White card base and added layers of "Just Add Cake" DSP and Chocolate Chip cardstock to the left hand panel and the over hang portion of our Z-Fold card was created with the help of the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die that was cut from a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock.
We added a white daisy from the "Flower Daisies #2" Bigz Die and added a 3/4" red circle to the center and three 1/2" circles to the lower right hand corner of our chocolate chip scallop piece. The real WOW FACTOR came when we added a layer of "Crystal Effects" to each of the circles and that gave us that little shine our card was needing. BEAUTIFUL....BEAUTIFUL Card!
Many thanks for joining me today - I have my Club gals coming over this afternoon for our May Stamp Club ....... we are making punch art projects and I will be sharing those project with you tomorrow. Hope you can come back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
always so gorgeous. i love how you split the die cut on the first one and the sweet DSP strips/flags! the crystal effects on the red circles really pops! hugs,m
