Happy Happy Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Countdown to Grandkids Arriving - 21 days to go!
This past Wednesday my Stamp Camp gals gathered together to create four cards and one flower box for our May Stamp Camp. Today I will be sharing the flower box and the 3x3 card that we made at Camp. Here's a look at the five projects we made at Stamp Camp on Wednesday.
We made four flower cards and a very special little daisy box for the ladies to store their card in.
The base of the daisy box was made from a 8"x6.5" piece of Whisper White cardstock and scored on all four sides at one inch. The top portion of the box was made with two Whisper White cardstock pieces that were 4-3/4"x8-1/8" and scored at one inch on both sides. The ladies embossed the top of their box with the Bordering on Romance stamp set and then using the Stampin' UP! watercolor pencils........we decorated the top of our box with some really fun spring colors.
We made a super fun Daisy for the top of our belly band that was made with the SU Daisy Die. The center of the daisy was made with a large brad with Crystal Effects spread around the middle of the brad and then Gold and Black embossing powder sprinkled over the top of the Crystal Effect and using our heating gun we set the embossing powder into the brad.
Here are the two section of the box pulled apart and the envelopes were left inside the box.
The belly band is just a 12" x 1-1/2" piece of Certainly Celery scored at 9", 8", 3-1/4" and 2-1/4" to form the wrap around for the belly band. We used the brad to secure the daisy directly to the center of our belly band. All four of the cards we created were able to be tucked inside the box and LOVE LOVE LOVE how this project turned out. OH SO PRETTY!
And here is the little 3x3 card that we created ........ It started with a Very Vanilla piece of cardstock and we added a piece of black cardstock and punched the top and bottom edges of that piece and added a piece of the "First Edition" DSP to the center of our card.
The flower for this card was created with several layers of Stampin' UP! flower punches and each of those layers were rolled up and distressed to create lots of texture for these flowers.
I'll be back tomorrow to share the other three cards that we made at our Wednesday Stamp Camp - Hope you can come back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Too much fun! Thanks for all you do Kadie!
