Balloon Surprise Card

Happy Thursday to you. Today I will be sharing a surprise card that I made using a stamp set that was not intended to be used the way I used it. Here is the stamp set called "Pick a Petal" - and this stamp set was intended to be used to make petals for flowers. I stamped the pok-a-dot image of this stamp set in Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Apricot Appeal. I then cut each of the flowers (balloons) out using my Paper Snips. I added dimensionals to the back of each Balloons and bunched them together in the center of my card. Using my black SU marker, I added a line to make it look like a string was holding the balloons together and then attached a colorful SU ribbon to the center of that string. This made for a bunch of Instant Birthday Balloons.
Here's a close-up on the stamped balloons. Too Cute (if I do say so myself)!
These cards are super fun to make and allow me to make MANY in an assembly line fashion - so I can keep a good supply of these cards on hand for Birthdays.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow. Keep Living Your Dream!
