Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event has reached
SINGLE DIGITS........
3 days and counting!!!!
Today is Spotlight Sunday ....... And I have a card I created using product from both the 2016-2017 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog and the 2017 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog. This card uses several products from both of those catalogs ........ So let me jump right in with my card share for today.........The COUNT DOWN for my daughter's
arrival for my Saddle-UP! event has reached
SINGLE DIGITS........
3 days and counting!!!!
I will start out this blog post by letting you in a little secret.....
I'm not a fan of the color green.....
I keep thinking there is something wrong with me.....
Because seriously.....Who doesn't like green????
But for this card......I was able to pull out two of the greens that I like the most and grabbed my 'Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies' and began the process.
I selected Cucumber Crush and Mint Macaron cardstock. I die-cut the largest square with the 'Stitched Shapes Framelits' and then used two of my retired square punches to create the three little accent squares that fit perfectly next to the large stitched square.
I lined each set up of squares on the left hand side of my Whisper White card front and created a fun little pattern with the three different size squares.
And one final touch was stamping my sentiment from the 'High Tide' set with Cucumber Crush ink and adding Clear Embossing Powder over the top.
I'm just crazy for the way this card turned out.......
And now I want to try it out with one of my favorite Stampin' UP! colors.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share an upgraded version of this very card with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
I don't like the color green either! Except for cash! Lol.
