My blog post for today is 3-D Tuesday. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project to share with you. This project was SUPER FUN to create and I created THREE of them. I used product that was featured in the 2016 Stampin' UP! Holiday Catalog. Let's jump right in with my project share for today...........
In December, I had the opportunity to carry on a December tradition with my two daughter and Hailey Girl. We headed over to Cedarburg, Wisconsin for our annual 'PLAY DAY'. Here is the album I created for myself and for each of my girls.
This album was designed to spot light all the fun we had in Cedarburg......And the best part.....The album is made out of some envelopes I had in my stash.
I created an accordion spine (found by accident on Utube) for each album. It measure 6-1/2" x 8" and I scored the Real Red cardstock every 1/2" to create 7-pocket pages. The red envelopes attached right to the valley section of the spine and this allowed for my album to lay flat and still be able to load lots of pictures in each of my albums.
The front and back Real Red covers measure 5" x 6-1/2"
Each page spread had one envelope that I cut off the flap.......
And that gave me a hidden pocket to store even more pics/journaling cards.
Here's a close-up of what the pocket looked like.
Each page spread told the story of our fun day.....
And even included the yummy lunch we had while in Cedarburg.
And what would our trip to Cedarburg be without the AMAZING crepes!
We had so much fun and create yet more FABULOUS MEMORIES!
I have to say that it's one of my favorite things to do while back in Wisconsin during December.
And here is what the entire album looks like when standing upright......And a close-up look at the spine of my album.
This little album turned out to be a real keepsake for myself and my girls.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card creation with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Wow Kadie...Your albums turned out amazing!!! Great job my Friend!!!
