Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
I have a special post to share with you today.....and one that is FABULOUSLY YUMMY! It has nothing to do with papercrafting........and everything to do with a dear sweet friend that creates some of the most AWESOME and AMAZING treats in all of Arizona. I say this because Kathie is that someone who not only is able to create spectacular gifts and treats......but she will also will BLOW YOU AWAY with the presentation of WHATEVER she is giving to you. Check out how I spent my Wednesday afternoon.........
We made these SERIOUSLY YUMMY chocolate covered Pretzels!
We took a pretzel rod and first covered it with some super yummy caramel!
We then dipped our pretzels into some melted chocolate.........
And then rolled it into a batch of toffee and chocolate chips mixture..........And let them sit in that batch of yummy until they set up......
Our last step was to drizzle some melted white chocolate over the top of our prepared pretzels.....and topped it all off with some mini chocolate chip pieces. OH MY GOSH.....can you say HELLO HEAVEN!
We then wrapped each of our pretzels into 3x8 cello bags.........
And tied them off with some extra large chenille stems.
Here are five of the six chocolate covered pretzels I made........Guess I had to sample one before I gave one to Jack. And trust me........OH MY GOSH.......they were SERIOUSLY GOOD!
So there you have it.......a super yummy treat that Kathie taught about 8 of my fellow SaddleBrooke Friends how to make. It was a totally fun day and it even included a special little visit from Kathie's 2-month old grandson Jack.........(possibly the cutest little baby boy in all of Arizona!). Thanks Kathie for sharing your kitchen with me and for including me in on this fun day.
I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you......Hope you can make time to stop back and see me. Keep Living Your Dream!
They sound so fun to make and yes I believe you, I bet they're Seriously Yummy!
