Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I am heading out BRIGHT and EARLY to go on a road trip with several of my SaddleBrooke Friends to Mesa. There is a Convention up there and we are all ready to go check out all the new papercrafting product that has hit the market.
My post today will be Part One of my FU (Fabulously Unique) groups cards for February. Let me jump right in with Debbie and Ann's cards.......
First up is Debbie's Card.........She had us make this DARLIN and OH SO PRETTY Floral card that used several floral punches and had some fun DSP added for steams.......Debbie used the Bitty Banner SU set for our happy birthday sentiment.......LOVE LOVE LOVE how the matching framelits dies just makes cutting out this sentiment a SNAP!
She had us add a Summer Starfruit In Color Dahlias to the center of our yellow flower.......
And we used DSP for the stems of our 5-Petal Flowers. Isn't the little button that we used in the center of our Calypso Coral 5-Petal Flower just DARLING! CUTE CUTE Card Debbie!
And my next card share is the card Ann had us make. VERY FUN CARD!
Ann had clear embossed 9-inchie square for us and all we needed to do was cut them in half and then match a Calypso Coral side with a matching Tempting Turquoise side. We were able to create any pattern we wanted......and I kept mine pretty straight forward (so not to get me confused!).Ann also had us add a Pok-a-Dot DSP to our base card and then we added an embossed flag piece for our 9-inchie squares to sit upon. Such a fun and creative challenge for me......It made me SLOW DOWN and THINK about what I was creating. PERFECT CARD ANN!
Many THANKS to both Debbie and Ann for sharing their creative talent with me at our February FU Group. Have to say that I look forward to getting together with these ladies......It's always GOOD eats and GREAT company when we connect.
I'll be back tomorrow to share the last two cards we made at our February FU gathering. I will be sharing the cards that Kris and I made.......Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Two fabulous cards by Debbie and Ann. I love the color mix of the floral card (especially with Crumb Cake) and the pattern of the squares card is bold and geometric. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun to assemble both of these cards Ladies! Liking the Spring color pallets too!
