Open House

Welcome to my Open House post. Over the next week - I plan to share with you the cards and projects I created for my Open House and give you lots of samples to look at and maybe recreate yourself. Let's get this party started....... First up is the fun little banner I created using the new BigZ Perfect Pennents Die. I diecut out the pennents and then just added the letters to spell out "Open House" and hung it on my front door the morning of my Open House. When you entered my house the first thing I had displayed were baskets of retired SU stamp set and last years catalogs. This spot turned LOTS of heads and MANY of my retired stamp sets found new homes that day. Next up was the area I dedicated to the New Idea Book & Catalog and LOTS of new product. I had a small section set-up to display the new product in the Summer Mini Catalog....... And I had a larger section set-up to display all the new product that SU allowed demostrators to pre-order before the release of the new Idea Book & Catalog. This is also where I set-up new product samples - so the ladies could see some new ideas of what to make with the product. Here's where the ladies sat and did their make n' take. This make n' take was from an idea that Becky Roberts posted on her amazing blog "Inking Idaho" a couple weeks ago. This is just one of several locations I set out of my card samples......and I also had several door prize drawers going on during the day........It was a show stopper when I would reach into the pink little tin and pull out a door prize number - no matter what the ladies were doing.....they stopped everything as I called out the winning numbers. And I leave you today with a view of the YUMMY YUMMY food I had at my Open House. I knew that the ladies would need to keep up their strength while flipping through the pages of the new Idea Book & Catalog.
