Tip-Toe Through The Tulips

It's the last day of March and have to say......LET SPRING BEGIN! Sharing a lovely Tulip card with you today that made me think of Spring in Wisconsin while I was making them. Here's a group shot of the three different colored tulips that I created.
The Old Olive version.......
The So Saffron version.......
And probably my favorite (because we had this color tulip in our front yard back in Wisconsin.......) the Pretty in Pink version........
I used the SU large oval punch to create the tulip and whatever color card stock I used, I inked the edges with a shade darker ink. This helped to create the depth and shadow for each of the tulips.
To make the basket, I grabbed my SU BigZ Baskets and Blooms die and used one layer of that die to create the basket.......Too Stinkin Cute - Or What?Figured that many of my friends would be receiving these cards in April.
Hope to see you tomorrow when I'll begin spotlighting the many cards I made in March with you. Until tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

Everyday Scallop Card

Today I want to share an everyday card I made in February that is the kind of card that makes me smile every single time I make it. It's one of those cards that you can use for just about ANYTHING. Take a look and see what I mean: Here's a sample of the three colors that I created........
This one I made a Thank You card - and I used Certainly Celery and Sage Shadow.
Here is my ALL TIME FAVORITE colors - Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip. Totally makes me think of my Daughters (who both LOVE Brown and Pink)
And this one without a doubt makes me think of my Granddaughters. They LOVE pink and purple. For this one I used Pixie Pink and Lavender Lace. YUM! I love keeping plenty of these in my card drawer so I can get a quick note off to someone and be sure that they smile when they receive my card.
Hope to see you tomorrow - when I'll be sharing the last of the cards I made in February......Until Wednesday - Remember - Keep Living Your Dream!

Be Happy

HAPPY MONDAY to you! Can't believe the weekend is already over - where does the time go? Today through Wednesday I'm going to share with you the last three cards I made in February. Today is my "BE HAPPY" card. Here's the Elegant Eggplant and Certainly Celery version of this card.
My So Saffron with Real Red (my all time FAVORITE SU COLOR!) version.
And last - but not least - Rose Red and Almost Amethyst version of this card.
Have to say that I LOVE the way ALL of them turned out. Figured I would send these to my friends when I'm having one of those "JustOnACountOfFor" kind of days.
Hope you a fabulous week and you stop back tomorrow for a look at the second to last card I made in February (not to worry.....I've got plenty of cards I made in March to share with you). Until Tuesday - Keep Living Your Dream!

Alligator Fun

The weekend is almost over and had to share this FUN Alligator card with you! .
Here's a close up of the Kiwii Kiss Alligator and his scallop border punch teeth.
This card was FUN and EASY to make - with the help of the retired SU Key Tag Punch and several circle punches. The teeth are made by using the SU Scallop Border Punch and just snipping off three of the scallops and lining them up to the edge of a cut off key tag punch.
Have already sent this card to my grandkids and plan to make several of these to keep on hand to send to my girlfriends who are having a bad day at work .... and they feel they are getting their "rear-ends" bite off by bosses or co-workers. Think this card will make the young and old smile.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see you back tomorrow. Until Monday - Keep Living Your Dream!

Thank You Pocket Card

Here are two samples that can have any saying stamped on circles - which are layered on squares and each are adhered to a small strip of card stock. The three stripes of card stock are then tucked into the ripped piece of card stock that is adhered to the bottom. Here's a close-up of the first swap card:
And the same card - only made with other card stock.
Thanks for stopping in today and tomorrow I will share another card creation with you. Keep Living Your Dream!

Gift Card Holders

Check out these fun gift card holders that can be made for any occasion or holiday. I've made several Birthday gift card holders to keep in reserve - so I can send out a quick gift card (Like STARBUCKS) and write a quick note on the back.
Here's another birthday gift card holder.......
And this final gift card holder is a cute cute lady bug - that was created with lots of different circle punches. I used dimensional to pop the lady bug up off the DSP.
Make these gift cards up for different Holiday's - Birthday's or Just Because and keep them on hand for quick gift giving.

Felt Flower Card

Here's a sweet little felt flower card that showcases the SU felt flowers with the help of a little DSP. I started with a Whisper White card and added layered squares of DSP and CS and placed SU felt flowers on a circle and stacked all these pieces on top of each other.
The results are a clean simple card that is just waiting for a message to be stamped on it.
Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow to see another Kard by Kadie creation. Keep Living Your Dream!

Flower Purse

Spotlighting today - two of my favorite girly things ....... purses and flowers. The way I look at it - one can never have too many purses ....... and ...... flowers. Both can change even the worse day into something SPECIAL. This little creation started out by pulling out my score pal. I placed my 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" pc of cs on my score pal and created embossed lines every 1/2". When flipped over - I had created embossed lines which dressed my cardstock up just a bit. I then cut my cardstock out in the shape of a purse and had a sweet little purse card - just waiting to be embellished.
I grabbed my BigShot and started die cutting out some flowers and the next thing I knew - I had this fabulous little purse notecard ready to mail to a friend who equally loves purses.
Made these in a bunch of different colors and they went together so fast that it took me no time to create a stack of them. I'll add a small message to the front bottom right corner and I'm ready to send a special little greeting to a galpal.
Thanks for stopping in and hope to see you tomorrow. I still have LOTS of cards to share with you that I made in February. Keep Living Your Dream!

Lady Bug.....Lady Bug.....Lady Bug......

Sharing a sweet little card that I created using a lady bug stamp and thank you stamp. I stamped the lady bug three times and used a Thank You stamp for my message (you could make several of these up and hold off stamping anything on the front until you need to send your card out and then you can pick out the perfect stamp for whatever message you want to express and just stamp that on the front of your card).
I also used the SU slot punch and SU brads to add a little interest to the side panel of the lady bug image.
Have used this design for other images and have to say that I use it often if I need a quick card. It goes together fast and has endless possibilities.
Hope to see you back tomorrow - It's the weekend and plan to do some serious creating in my studio. Until tomorrow - Keep Living Your Dream!

C O O K ...... I E

Happy Monday to you! As we continue our trip to Sesame Street - It just couldn't be worth the trip if we didn't bring in COOKIE MONSTER. (or as my daughter would say - COOK-eeeeee) I used my SU Scallop Die again and several circle punches to create Cookie Monster. Super EASY and Super Simple. These make great cards for little kids and you can also stamp a birthday message on the inside of his mouth.
