Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today is Mix It UP! Monday and I have an upgraded version of the card I shared with you yesterday. I used the exact same product that was used to create yesterday's card ....... But besides changing up the layout of my card ....... I also added one additional die-cut feature for today's card and those two changes allowed me to bring this card up to the next stamping level.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a 3-D Tuesday creation with you ...... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Here is yesterday's Spot Light Sunday card on the LEFT.......
And my Mix-It-UP! Monday card on the RIGHT.......
For today's card ........ I created a 'FLIP UP' style card. The measurements are a 4-1/4" x 11" card that is scored at 5-1/2". My first cut was made at 1-3/4" from the center fold.......And then I cut the remaining piece of cardstock at 2" ( and this will be used for the bottom panel of my card). The lasts cut I made was to the remaining piece of Very Vanilla cardstock......and that I cut down to 3-1/2" (this piece will be used for the center sentiment panel).
I adhered Designer Series Paper to the top and bottom flaps. The top flap measures 1-1/2" x 4" and the bottom flap measures 1-3/4" x 4".
My sentiment panel adheres the top and bottom flaps together and acts like a bridge that keeps my card together.
Here's a close-up of what the sentiment panel looks like as it bridges the top and bottom panels together.
This is a fun card to create and is perfect with just about any stamped image and sentiment.

I love how the "flip" section creates a little bridge. Nice change up from the first version (which was wonderful as well).
