Happy 4th of July My Blogger Friends!
Today is both the 4th of July and my BIRTHDAY! And I have a special 3-D Tuesday project to share with you. I had my knee replacement surgery 4-weeks ago ........ And over the last 4 weeks, I have been going to PT three times a week. During those 4-weeks ....... I've made some amazing friendships with the SUPER PROFESSIONAL staff at Proactive. And as I prepare to graduate from my program ........ I wanted to make a special 4th of July treat for all the staff at Proactive. Let me share with you what I made for them.........
It's a basket full of candy treats.
I started out by creating a fun message for the top of my basket......
Next, I filled my basket up with some Red, White and Blue filler.....
Then I created these ADORABLE little Dove Chocolate Holders.
(check out Paper Pixie June 26th blog post for an amazing video Julie did on how to make these little Dove Chocolate Holders)
They are made with a 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of cardstock. I scored at 2" and 4". Then turned one turn and scored at 1" and 2-1/2" ..... then turned one more time and scored at 1" and 3" but only up to the 1" score line.
All that was left to do was decorate the front of each chocolate holder with a pretty little thank you circle. How FESTIVE and FUN does this little basket look? Needless to say.......the staff at Proactive was THRILLED beyond words with their little treats.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a fun little Wine Down Wednesday card with you ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
So cute! Happy Birthday!
