October Challenge Card

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have my SaddleBrooke Stampers challenge card for October to share with you.    We were given a piece of black cardstock, some gray dotted DSP and a piece of white netting and told to go CREATE.
 Here is what I made......
I started out with the Toil and Trouble stamp set and embossed the skull image.  Our challenge packet came with a pair of goggle eyes (mine were two different eyes) and I added those to my stamped out skull image.  I then matted my skull onto a 1-3/4" Basic Black circle and added two additional layers of Basic Gray and Smoky Slate cardstock that was die-cut out using the Deco Framelits.
I used a piece of the dotted gray DSP and adhered it to the left hand edge of my card and layered some gray ribbon that I had in my stash right over the DSP panel.
I used the white netting we were provided and attached it directly to my black card base panel (securing it to the backside of my black cardstock).  I then adhered that black card base panel to my Whisper White base card.

Here's a close-up of what the gray fringed ribbon looked like when attached to my card.
My "Happy Halloween" sentiment was stamped from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and then punched out with the Word Window Punch.  I matted my punched out sentiment to the Modern Label Punch that was punched out from Smoky Slate cardstock.

I will probably be sending this card to my oldest grandson for Halloween.  I just know he will appreciate the fun of this cards!

Thanks for joining me today!  I'll be back tomorrow to share some of the project that we made at Lorri Heilings Holiday Extravaganza last weekend.  Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dreams!
