Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the 4th and 5th projects we made at last weekends Holiday Extravaganza Event.
Let me jump right in with my first share for today........
We started out with a Whisper White card base that was cut using the new Circle Card Thinlits Die.
We added Silver Glimmer paper to both edges of our card.....and stamped just the "Joy" out from the new "Joy to the World" stamp set. To kick our message up a level.....we added a rhinestone adorned embellishment from the new Frosted Finishes Embellishments. (That was attached to our card using a couple mini glue dots.)
For the front of our card......we covered our die-cut circle section with Silver Glimmer paper (that was punched out using the 2-1/2" circle punch). We then added a stamped Pool Party Festive Flurry snowflake image (that was die-cut out using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies) over our Silver Glimmer Paper and added a small rhinestone embellishment to the center of our snowflake.
For the inside circle panel we die-cut one of the Festive Flurry snowflakes with our Silver Glimmer paper and then added another Festive Flurry stamped snowflake (that was also die-cut using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies) right over our Pool Party snowflake. We finished our Pool Party snowflake off with another rhinestone embellishment in the center.
For our inside panel.....we used the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and ran that through our Big Shot ........Which gave us this beautiful embossed image on our card.
And here is what our Circle Framelits card looks like opened up........
SIMPLY GORGEOUS CARD!
Our 5th project was making these DARLING EARRINGS .........
We used two of the Frosted Finishes Embellishments and our Crystal Effects to glue our earring post backing to the back of our Frosted Finishes Embellishments. We set our earrings aside to let them dry ..... and went on to complete our packaging for our earrings.
Lorri had these darling little envelopes that were the perfect packaging size for our earrings. We stamped our smallest Festive Flurry stamp (in Pool Party) all over our packaging and added some rhinestone embellishments to the center of our snowflakes for a little WOW FACTOR!
Our last step was to slide our earrings into the small envelope and then secure it closed with a small piece of Pool Party Seam Binding. STINKIN DARLING PROJECT..........and will be making a second pair of these so I can send them to my two granddaughters in Wisconsin.
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share with you project #6 from Lorri's Holiday Extravaganza Event. Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
It seems to me, Kadie, that you had way too much fun during the extravaganza, LOL! Really do appreciate you sharing these fun projects!!
ReplyDeleteYou made earrings! OMG you're so Amazing! Love this Frosty Winter color pallet in this project! Gorgeousness!
ReplyDeletealmost makes me miss snowflakes (ok, maybe not). beautiful card and earrings with plenty of bling!
ReplyDeleteLove that card! The glimmer paper sure is sparkly. I love that embossing folder and the JOY sentiment. How cute is that! I have the circle and label dies; but, haven't used them yet. I know, shame on me! I'm still stuck on Halloween. =) The embellishments are awesome. I didn't get these as I thought they were a little expensive; but, I think you talked me into getting them now. Love those earrings...adorable! The packaging really ROCKs too! Thanks for sharing with us!
