Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing the Make n' Take we made at our May SW Stampers meeting. This card was inspired by fellow SU Demo Kimberly Van Dippen.....who in my mind is the QUEEN of Shabby Chic. Here is the card my fellow demonstrator friends made..........
This card comes together so quickly and is packed full of shabby chic!
We started out by stamping this image from the Everything Eleanor stamp set. We used Early Espresso ink and to give it a softer look......we inked up our swirl image from this set and then stamped off before inking it onto our Very Vanilla card base.
We then used one of the new Soda Pop Top embellishments and flatten that in our Big Shot and used the new "A Round Array" stamp set (with Calypso Coral ink) and stamped our favorite image from that set and layered that piece inside our flatten soda pop top.
A Scallop Circle punched out with the new Epic This N Take DSP was used at the base of our soda pop top.
We punched two butterflies out with the Epic This N Take DSP and added some Dazzling Details to the edges of the wings for a little WOW FACTOR!The focal image for our card was this Apothecary Accents framelits ...... which was diecut from the Epic This N Take DSP.....along with some Linen Ribbon.....and a quarter piece of the new Doily. All the edges of each of these pieces was sponged with some Early Espresso ink and that little touch helped give our focal image a real SHABBY CHIC kind of look.
And there you have it friends......a GORGEOUS CARD that is PERFECT for any occasion.
Thanks for joining me today............I'm off to join my Club Gals for our May Stamp Club event. We are making two darling projects today.......and I'll be sharing those projects with you tomorrow. Hope you can make plans to come back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
