Gift From Abbie

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!

Today I have a fun little holiday gift that I received from my good friend Abbie on Saturday.  She came over for my last Stamp Club session and when she walked in - she handed me this "OH SO CUTE gift......

At first I looked at it and thought......What an amazing wrapping job Abbie did for this gift.

The ends are shredded wrapping paper....and it looks like a New Years Eve Popper.......

And then I realized......That's exactly what it was........And you know that Poppers normally have something inside of them.  But the trick was getting to the something inside without trashing the packaging (Because the packing of this little cutie was much to cute to tear apart)...........

So I worked like the devil to wiggle and twist the ends around until I finally found an opening on one of the ends and I reached inside to pull out this amazing little treat......

Here is what poked out when I finally reached the gift.......

And with one quick tug.......There it came......

An awesome tape runner.......Just screaming for me to head into my studio and create something amazing!

It's a vellum Adhesive runner - which I have to say I don't owe one of these.  So I will be busy trying to create somthing fun this next week so I can use this fun adhesive runner on some type of vellum project.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Holiday Popper and will display it on my upper cabinet in my studio.

THANK YOU Abbie for making me this darling gift - I know it must have taken you a great deal of time to put this popper together and I appreciate all the hard work you put into making it for me.  YOU ROCK GIRLFRIEND!
