Happy Monday My Blogger Friends and thanks for returning for Day Two of the watercolor class I took with Di GIbbs. As I mentioned yesterday, Di Gibbs offered a Introduction to WaterColor Class in August and I was lucky enough to be able to attend. Here is the second card we made at Di's class:
When we signed up for this class we received the sweet little stamp set "Little Friends" and we used that stamp set to make three ADORABLE watercolor cards. Di started our class out by giving us a down and dirty demo on how to use watercolor pencils and then she had us DIVE RIGHT IN and play. She was always only a few steps away from any help we needed - so of course - One couldn't mess up!We added one of Di's signature elements and that is the 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrin Ribbon (and you'll notice that we frayed the edges o that ribbon for a FUN LITTLE WOW). And we even made a fun little "Happy Birthday" flag with the stamp that is inlcuded in this amazing set.
Have to say that the little girl and her dog were sooooo much fun to color in - and using the Stampin' UP! watercolor pencils and blending pen (which our very own pen was included in the class) made coloring this little cutie sooooo super easy.
I'm off to go spend some time with my family - the days have just FLOWN by while we have been visiting in Wisconsin. Only three more days left and we will be heading back to SUNNY Arizona!
Hope you can join me tomorrow for the last of the cards that I made at Di Gibbs watercolor class in August.......Keep Living Your Dream!
Love your cards ! where did you get the stamps? Dog and girl the other was two little gils. Thanks
