Hooray For Today Card

Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends!

Today I will be sharing a special little "Hooray for today" card with you.  I made two versions of this card and think they both turned out SUPER CUTE!  First let me share my original creation with you.......

I created this Cherry Cobbler card and thought I was totally happy with the way it turned out.  Then I grabbed some DSP from the Sale-a-bration promotion and created this next card.

How's this for a statement card.

I used the SAB Bubbles embossing folder.......

And after stamping my "Hooray for today" sentiment......I went back in and dabbed some Crystal Effects onto both the "o's".  Talk about INSTANT WOW FACTOR!

Another little something something I did with this card was create a super fun button embellishment with the Delicate Details Lace Tape (Page 171).  All I did was cute one of the scallop lace tape sections out and then added a black bitty punch scallop and topped it off with a small pearl.  The final touch was adding a thin layer of Crystal Effects over the completed button project.  WOW!

I topped my button embellishment onto the tail end of some Basic Black Chevron Ribbon and this card project was done.  LOVE LOVE LOVE how both of my card samples turned out.
