Card from Patti Willey

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
My card share today is a special little card I received from my fellow Stampin' UP! demo and internet friend Patty Willey.....
When I returned from the Stampin' UP! convention in July........I received this beautiful card from Patti!  There is soooo much detail on this card that I'm just hoping that I was able to capture it all.
The amazing part of Patti's card is that she cut-down a standard Baked Brown Sugar card base and added two Very Vanilla sections to the inside of her card to jazz it up......
Here's a view of what the inside of Patti's card looks like........
And here is how Patti joined the two pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock to her base card (of Baked Brown Sugar).
You can see exactly how Patti created her Baked Brown Sugar card base and Very Vanilla insert from this picture.
Patti used the Finishing Touches Edgelits to pretty up the edge of her Very Vanilla cardsock.......
And then used the Adorning Accents Edgelits for both her Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe layers.
Here's a close-up of the layers on her card.
Patti used the Fancy Fan embossing folder to pretty up her Crisp Cantaloupe layered piece......And added a piece of the 5/8" Crochet Trim around the center of her card.
Patti used the oval Designer Frames shape for her sentiment....and then used the Labels Collection Framelits to frame-out her sentiment.
And one last touch was the FUN little Candy Dots that Patti added to the top right corner of her card!
I can only say that Patti's card has to be seen to be believed.  It is a GORGEOUS card that you have to hold in your hands to get all the beauty of it.  THANK YOU Patti for sending me this extra special card!

Thanks for joining me today.....I'll be back tomorrow to begin sharing the Christmas in July Fun Shop cards that my SaddleBrooke Stamper friends made.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

  1. So glad your card arrived ok! I wish I had it with me when I saw you at Convention, one tip for you all. Fold that card base (baked brown sugar) in half like a card, and put the Adorning Edgelit on top and run through the Big Shot. It will cut both pcs. of card stock no problem. This way your card bottoms will match. Cut the Very Vanilla 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and punch the bottom edge to make pretty. Now your card will stand up and it fits the regular envelope! The rest is layering, and lots of love. Hugs!
