Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have one extra card to share with you that I made for the InkBig Week Long Card Challenge. I have a GORGEOUS card I will be sending to my youngest daughter Jenni(yes...........ANOTHER coffee LOVER). Jenni loves Starbucks about as much as her sister and I do.....but while she was pregnant....she couldn't drink it. This little card should not only make her smile.......but put the HAPPY back in her non-pregnant step. Check out this gorgeous little card......
I started with a Soft Suede base card and added a panel of Early Espresso cardstock and a panel of the new In Color (Crisp Cantaloupe) Designer Series Paper Stack.
Next I stamped two coffee cups from the "Perfect Blend" stamp set and jazzed one of the cups with a Crisp Cantaloupe heart and the other with a Starbucks sticker. I used Crystal Effects on both of the images to "shine" them up a bit. My two cups also were positioned onto a half piece of the new "Tea Lace Paper Doilies"......and that was adhered behind the two flag banners for that perfect touch of "pretty" for this card.
Here's a close-up picture of the Starbucks sticker I added to one of the coffee cups. Adding Crystal Effects was a nice shiny addition to the sticker.
I added dimensional adhesive behind each of my coffee cups before I adhered them down onto my card. The lift from the dimensional adhesive was just what these cups needed.
My flags were created with Early Espresso cardstock and a piece of the Baked Brown Sugar Designer Series Paper Stack. To create the flags I used my paper snips and two quick little cuts up the center of each flag.
So there you have it friends........Lisa's week long challenge of making and sending a card out every day was one that I not only MASTERED.......but had LOTS OF FUN participating in. THANKS Lisa for putting this challenge out there.....It was FUN!
Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share some convention swap cards that I received........Hope you can make plans to stop back and let me share those cards with you. Keep Living Your Dream!
