Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have another scrapbook to share with you. This is one that I made for myself! Check out this fun little mini album I created.......
I used the Stampin' UP! Mini Memories Simply Created Album Kit (Page 31 of the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog).
The album is held together with two binder rings.........And I added LOTS of Stampin' UP! Ribbon to those rings to really pretty up my album.
My cover was embellished with the help of my Cricut Machine........This title says it all!
And on the inside of my album, there are ENDLESS pictures of the guys I LOVE!
The kit comes with all the Chipboard Covers, double-sided papers, vellum sheets, envelopes, bags, doilies, and embellishments that I needed to create this SERIOUS work-of-art.
I added my pictures.......
Some Ribbon......
LOTS of journaling......
Simple photo mats for my ADORABLE pictures.....
And the rest was left up to my imagination!
There are pages of my (adult) kids......
And speaking of kids......Aren't these some GREAT looking kids!
And the greatness didn't stop at the adult kids......
My grandkids are the ones who really steal this album!
I created some hidden pockets from the bags that were included in this kit.
And all I needed to do was add some ribbon to the ends of the photo and that ribbon acts like a pull for the pictures.
I love everything about this album.
I'm especially loving all the different ways I was able to create hidden journal cards.
Here's one that just flips up to reveal the message for that page.
And one of my favorite pages.......
Was adding this "pull here" tab........
And the journal card is tucked inside this pocket.
There is also another photo/journal card that is tucked inside this envelope.
And it pulls out to reveal a picture of Twoie!
And speaking of Twoie........
Here he is ready for his photo-shoot for the pizza ad.
This page of Twoie is special.......
And it deserved a special little journal card that flapped down to somewhat hide the journaling.
Each page captured a photo......
And some type of journal message about that photo.
And what would my album be if it didn't include a picture of me.....along with.....
My Jack.
And the very last page of my album was completely a journaling page.
I'm blessed beyond words to have such a loving and caring family......And there isn't a day that goes by that I don't count my blessings......EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!
