February Club card

Happy Thursday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the card we made at my February Stamp Camp gathering two weeks ago.  We used the Dapper Dad stamp set from the new Spring Catalog and we created a fun spotlight card with Crumb Cake and Midnight Muse cardstock and ink.  Check out this card......

We started with a Crumb Cake base card and used a layer of Midnight Muse over the top of that.  We used the Dapper Dad stamp set to stamp (in Midnight Muse) all four images from that set ..... directly onto our midnight muse piece.

We then took Crumb Cake cardstock and First Edition DSP and stamped our Dapper Dad images onto that and using our 1-1/4", 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" circle punches.....we punched out five "SPOT LIGHT" images to add directly over our stamped Midnight Muse piece.
Here's a close-up of what the Dapper Dad shoe stamped looks like when stamped onto the First Edition DSP and then punched out with a 1-3/4" circle punch.  Positioning the First Edition stamped DSP piece right over our shoe image and lining up all the pieces creates a nice "SPOT LIGHT" focal image on the front of this card.
Here's another close-up of the plaid shoe.......
And also the Dapper Dad bow tie is also spotlighted on this card.
I gave the girls three possible options on a sentiment for the inside of their card.......A birthday sentiment.......

A Happy Father's Day sentiment......
Or a Wish Big Birthday sentiment.
Super FUN card to create and can be made up for just about any color combination and any occasion.

So there you have it......the Club card project that my club gals made in February.
I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you.......Hope you can find time to come back and join me for that share tomorrow.  Keep Living Your Dream!

Februay Stamp Club 3-D

Happy Wednesday My  Blogger Friends!
Today I have the 3-D project that my Stamp Club gals made at our February Stamp Club on February 16th.  My hostess for February was Abbie (Hi Abbie!)........and she wanted me to use the Dapper Dad and Beyond Plaid stamp sets for our February projects.  Here is the project we created using both of those sets......
We used the Boutique Boxes that are on page 25 of our new Spring Catalog and we just swapped out the note cards with some Crumb Cake notecards that we could use the Beyond Plaid stamp set across the bottom portion of our notecards.

Here is a sample of three of the box fronts and one that is opened and the two notecards shown.
The Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit comes with 8-diecut printed boxes and notecards, embellishment sheets, buttons and Bakers Twine to make 8-designer boxes.
Here's a close-up view of the front of the designer box (on the left) and on the right are the two notecards being tucked inside the little Boutique Box.
The sentiment for the little note cards comes with the new stamp set on Page 25......A Little Greeting.
Here's a close-up of what the front of the box looked like......
And yet another close-up of another boutique Box design.
The ladies had fun creating their boutique  boxes and I can't wait to hear who they gave the kits to.  We also used the Sycamore Street designer buttons that are with stash.

Thanks for joining me today....I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the A2 card that we made   Keep Living Your Dream!

Congrats Card To Hailey

Happy Monday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have a special little post to share with you.......And it's all based around my AMAZING and VERY TALENTED granddaughter Hailey.  She entered a Talent Show at her school last week and she sang a song by Taylor Swift "Begin Again".  OH....MY.....GOSH FRIENDS......She did an amazing job and I'm not just saying that because she' the most amazing and talented granddaughter on this planet).

As a way of letting her know how proud both her PopPop and her NaNa are of her...... I made her this special little card for all the hard work she put into practicing and braving the elements of getting up in front of all those people last Monday night.
I pulled out my SU Dress Form framelits dies and created this darling little pink dress for Hailey......(pink of course.....because she is her NaNa's granddaughter)
I knew right away the sentiment I was going to stamp on the front of her card.  Because honestly ..... There's Only One Hailey!  I used the Vintage Verses set from the stamp sets being offered with SAB.
Here's the Pretty in Pink Dress Up Framelits dress that I made Hailey...and I even decorated it with some Victoria Lace Ribbon and some SU Rhinestones.
The bottom DSP band that I added was from the More Amore DSP and I used PrimeRose Petals cardstock to create the scallop border on both edges of my DSP panel.
On the inside I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits and the Loving Thoughts stamp set to create my "Dare to Dream" sentiment label.  But of course TRUE to NaNa form.....I had to add a special and very personal message to the inside of my card (that I won't be sharing with you!).
LOVE the way this card turned out and know that my Hailey girl will love and treasure the message that I wrote to her on the inside of this special little card.  Let's just say I reminded her to continue living her dreams.

So there you have it.....my special little congrats card to Hailey Girl.  I'll be back tomorrow to share more Kards by Kadie creations with you.....Hope you can stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

February Stamp Camp Card #4

Happy Sunday My Blogger Friends!
Today I will be sharing the final card from my February Stamp Camp with you.  It's probably the one card that almost all the ladies SMILED and thought was a HAPPY card to make.  Let me share that card with you now....
We started with a Very Vanilla card base and added a Cherry Cobbler frame and a Marina Mist cardstock frame that was run through the Big Shot with the NEW Honeycomb Embossing Folder.
Our sentiment came from the Blooming Marvelous (SAB) set and we used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch to punch our sentiment out and popped it onto a Scallop Circle Punch.  We also added a small piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding to the far left hand-side of our Parker's Pattern DSP piece.
We stamped out three flags from the Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set and die-cut them out using the Hearts A Flutter Framelits dies.  Our flags were stamped in Daffodil Delight, Not Quite Navy and Cherry Cobbler.  To create a little bit of fun and dimension to each of our Hearts A Flutter Framelits die-cut pieces.......We added several layers of the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch, the Bitty Heart Punch and SU Pearls to each of our flag pieces.

The ladies also hand-cut out three embossed Honeycomb pieces (in Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight) and glued those three pieces directly onto their Marina Mist Honeycomb frame piece.
We used a piece of Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine to string our three banner flags across the top of our card to create a darling little hanging banner piece.  We then finished off our banner by adding a Cherry Cobbler Twine bow to each end of our banner.
All three of our flags were adhered down using a Stampin' Dimensional!
Darling little card and one of those "MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD" kind of cards to create.  While packaging up this card.......I found myself smiling big.  Know it was the COLOR combination and the HAPPY feeling this card gives me.
And here's a recap of all four cards that we made at our February Stamp Camp last week.

Many thanks for joining me today....I have a special little card share for you tomorrow  It's a card that I made for my granddaughter Hailey for performing in her school talent show last week.  Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

February Stamp Camp Card #3

Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends!
It's card number three of my February Stamp Camp cards to share with you.....Let's Jump Right In.....
This card was INSPIRED and CASE'd from Nanci Siegrist at our Stampin' Connection demonstrators site.  When I saw this card....I was IMMEDIATELY DRAWN to the fabulous little embellishment that Nanci had created in the upper left hand corner of her card.  Let me walk you through the steps of putting this card together.......
I started with a base card of Early Espresso cardstock and added a Crumb Cake cardstock mat over my base card.
Grabbing my First Edition DSP I created a banner to run directly through the center of my card and then stamped the Bicycle from the Feeling Sentimental SAB set onto a Crumb Cake square.
Here's a close-up of the FABULOUS embellishment that Nanci created and she did this  using the new 7/16" Natural Ribbon trim and securing two Jewelry Punched tags from the 1st Edition DSP and adding a Linen Thread bow to the top of this with a Vintage Trinket safety pin.
The real magic comes together for this entire card when you use a Stampin' Sponge and some Early Espresso ink and distress up all the edges of your cardstock and 1st Edition DSP.
Simply find this card one of those AMAZING CREATIONS that could be used for any occasion or any event and would look fabulous in all sorts of earth-tone colors. Many THANKS to Nanci for her creative eye and brilliant work.

So I have one final day left for my February Stamp camp share.......I'll be back tomorrow to share that last card with you.  I'm hoping you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!

February Stamp Camp Card #2

Happy Friday My Blogger Friends!
Today I have the second card we made at last Wednesday's Stamp Camp to share with you.  This card was inspired by Heather Heroldt (fellow Arizona demo) who saw the humor in saying "Rain in Arizona is Party Time!".  Here is my version of that card......
We started with a Whisper White base card and rounded the top and bottom right side.
We then grabbed the "Rain or Shine" set and stamped three umbrella's in Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo and snipped those little cuties out with our Paper Snips.  We also stamped three long handles for each of our umbrellas and added those to the backside of our umbrellas before popping them onto our card with a dimensional.
We used the Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP to create a flag banner that ran across the bottom portion of our Bashful Blue frame piece.  We also used the NEW 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon to tie a little sweet knot to the end of our DSP flag banner.
After we adhered down each of our umbrellas.........We came back and added one of the Bitty Circle punches in the coordinating color to the top of our umbrella and added a splash of Crystal Effects for a glossy and wet look.
Here's a close-up of what the Bashful Blue center frame piece looked like after we ran it through our Big Shot with the new Cloudy Day Embossing Folder........PERFECT little touch!
So there you have it......Card number TWO for my February Camp session.  And because I have several ladies who bought kits for my February.........I leave you today with a group picture of all four cards we made at this months Camp session.

I'll be back tomorrow to share card #3 with you.......Hope you can come back and join me for that share.  Keep Living Your Dream!
