Little Purse Card

Today is Mother's Day and my Mother's Day gift this year was to have both my daughters come to Arizona to be with me for Mother's Day. How truly blessed I am to have my daughters and their families visiting me on this special day. SO.....In honor of Mother's Day today.......I wanted to share another little purse creation with you. I made several of these purse cards - and used just a square piece of cardstock with a matching circle punch for the flap-over. The handle for my purse is a small piece of grossgrain ribbon.
Here's what the Tempting Turquoise looks like.
And a close-up of the purse. Check out the bling I added to the secure the flap down.....It's a SU Rhinestone Brad (Circle Ice).
And one last shot of the Pumpkin Pie version.
I'm off to enjoy the day with my daughters and want to thank you for stopping by. I'll be returning with my regular posting on Saturday, May 15th. Keep Living Your Dream!

  2. Hi Kadie, Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog about the flip flops. Actually I do have a trick for keeping the flowers on, I take a piece of ribbon that is the same color as the flip flop and wrap it tightly around the area where the flower is to be attached and hot glue it(glue ribbon to ribbon instead of to the rubber, may take a couple of layers of ribbon to achieve this) and then hot glue the flowers on top of the ribbon. My 6 year old wore them to school and played on the playground and still managed to come home with them attached(although very dirty!). Let me know if this helps. By the way love your blog!
